"I have written a review for the Roessle before, this past Easter. We were a large family group and I found it very good. My wife and I visited again, in the summer this time, and I must say I would not go back. The service was frustratingly slow, and I believe the fault was in the kitchen and not necessarily the waiters (although there were only two for the whole Gasthaus). The restaurant was full on a Wednesday evening, a good sign, and the clientele were largely older, likely retired, Germans. Most tables had a reserved sign when we arrived at 19:00 but we were lucky and got a table for two (the last). The food this time was unremarkable. We had the Mediterranean plate and a salad with chicken strips. Nothing wrong, but nothing special either. The prices were on the high side (Euro 36 for the two 'vesper' dishes plus a half-liter of Chianti). The garlic bread with the Med dish was forgotten and was slow in finally arriving. There were four small slices of bread. The chicken salad was grudgingly served with - get this - three small slices of bread. You can eat better, cheaper and faster elsewhere, and hopefully sit on a nice terrace, which the Roessle does not have."

"Birthday dinner in the train court. My daughter and I had the same supplement for the main course. This was just as large as the supplements of the others who had their own supplement. The waitress said we should let her know if we need more supplements. I gave up on time and asked for a referral. This was first forgotten what happened after a few minutes. After reminding me again, the waitress still went from table to table to take care of the orders instead of the guests who already have their food on the table. In the meantime, the others ate at the table, my daughter served at the side of the other at the table. My food was cold when my supplement was brought after 10 minutes. The bad thing was the handling of the waitress and her mother about the Fauxpas: The service apologised, but then told me that we had the double supplement anyway. Then why is this offered to us? The mother was then really the best: they complained that I only ate the second supplement to 2/3. Words: You didn't even eat anything, then you don't have to scream like that. A: I didn't shout. I wasn't excited and I said that too. B: The portion was apparently for two people. C: The others at the table were already FERTIG and my daughter had served at the OTHER supplements. I left the place. The rest of my family was only served with a murky look of the lady. For crowning, two dishes were also presented on the invoice. The daughter of the older waitress then apologised again, which this time really sounded honest. Despite everything, my birthday dinner was ruined. I'm also a mother. If you want to protect your daughter, that's all right. But not as a waitress in a restaurant and not wrong. That's how you bury the guests. The food is good, but nothing special. You get a better service for less money in many restaurants."
