"Yesterday we tried a place that was on my list for a long time. Ruth's Chris Steak House was nothing but average, high-quality prices for the same quality food as any other chain restaurant. I had a fat of 16 ounces ribeye, with what taste like Reg Mac and cheese with pepperjack cheese they called southwest? No other taste or spice. Salad was ceasar with the blunt end of the romaine stem, no anxious soil in cesar dressing. Waste your time or, above all, your money. The punch has ten times the quality and ambience that Ruth'Chris has made. The food at The Hitching Post is authentic, fresh, tastefully seasoned and cheap, the owners are beautiful and come to welcome you, the waiting staff is friendly, Corey makes a good work at the bar. The music and the ambience are great. I look forward to going there every time, whether for wednesday night special, steak or pork apron or sunday brunch.
