"I stumbled on this hidden gem while I was trying to find a place to eat on a road trip to Bar Harbor, Maine with my boyfriend?s family. Not only are the people who work here incredibly kind, but they have THE best lobster rolls I have ever had and I have had many. We drove into the lot at 3 PM but were unaware that they reduced their hours that very morning. Unfortunately we had 5 more hours left to drive in order to make a dinner reservation for my boyfriend?s birthday. Luckily we caught Jim as he was arriving with the team to set up for service at 4. I explained to him that we had been traveling from Rhode Island and it was my first time traveling with my boyfriend?s parents. I turned down all their lobster roll place suggestions because I saw that Salty?s had the best reviews but failed to check the updated hours of operation. Jim was kind of enough to make six cold lobster rolls before opening for us so that we could continue on our way. The lobster tastes like it just came out of the shell, succulent and juicy, lightly dressed and overflowing on a perfectly toasted buttered bun with scallions. I wouldn?t be surprised if there was an entire lobster on the roll. It was so good that every lobster roll we had in Maine after fell short of this one. I actually helped produce the Tasting Table Lobster Rumble in 2018 where we brought 25 vendors from all over the country to compete for the best lobster roll. None of those restaurants could compare to the lobster roll I had here. I am writing this review on our drive home after another stop at Salty?s. If you ever find yourself in Middleton or are driving up the East Coast do yourself a favor and stop here!!"

"My friends and I decided to visit during Winter Restaurant Week. For appetizers, I had the tomatoes bisque soup, which are full of taste and contain crumbs and a little cheese in top. My gut was Braised Lamb Shoulder w/whipped potatoes, roasted vegetables and lamb demi Glace. The lamb was good and tender with hardly any fat. The Veggies were good, but they would like more. To dessert, I had the flurless chocolate cake, and that was very good. All about good experience and want to return and try other items on the menu."

"vin santo has a wonderful intimate and romantic atmosphere with quiet Italian background music. we go there about once a month, it is by far our favorite Italian restaurant. the ravioli vin santo, mista salat, lasagna and tiramasu are the best I had anywhere in the world."

"I was here a few times. Very friendly staff bf great environment to watch a football match or just have fun with friends. The food was very good, I and my mother really liked the impossible burgers. Sweet potato fries were my favorite, but the perpetrator darts were a tight second. Testing the sweet chili-cauliflower bites, and they were okay, but somehow tasted like bread. My aunt really likes the Buffalo chicken salad and even though they took it from the menu they still made it for them! Great place to take a drink or a casual meal."

"The food is amazing. My Wife and I ordered our food, and it came out in less than 10 minutes. We also ordered the Creme brûlée pie, and it was delicious!!! The hostess received us with a wonderful attitude. Our server Marlene always had a smile on her face and a great attitude. We ended up taking more pies for our kids that Marlene recommended! Thank you Hubbard Avenue Diner for the great experience!!!"

"Was in the area for my nieces basketball tournament and decided to stop for lunch. Not sure what I was expecting but I loved it. You could see they were short staffed but the waitress was great. Drinks were delicious-this is usually my biggest complaint at restaurants. Food was piping hot(as it should be) and so good. If I lived closer I would definitely be back."

"I'm surprised when I talk to Madisonians who tell me they've never been to Louisiannes. The place is the perfect gumbo from bright food, warm atmosphere and really friendly and attentive staff. For an app go with the pork crepe and the goat cheese. I like the catfish Louisianne and the tenderloin is great, but you need to get the cancer BBQ Cup. You can adjust your Sazerac to your taste sweet or dry. With Johnny Chimes as their home musician at most nights you can simply make an evening in the bar that usually has an interesting selection of locals, travelers and the occasional politics."

"Bentos are kinda pricy, but what is one to do? As economist Sam Williams put it last month, “The disruption of trade as well as grain and fertilizer production — of which both Russia and Ukraine are critical suppliers — is threatening to create global food shortages.” For that, paying a little extra for raw fish isn’t too big of a deal. Though, I’ve yet to work out any causal connection between a global food crisis with major implications for Southern nations and pricy sashimi at Blue Fin—if you asked me to substantiate this, I would be stumped, it’s probably not true, I dunno. But I’m not here to tell you about why $30 dinner bento boxes cost as they do—don’t want to get political here—I’m here to tell you that you should get more sushi instead. Sushi good. 4/5 stars, 7/10 bulking rating. Sorry I misaligned the pictuer"

"Had the spicy beef noodles, noodles are excellent with only enough chewing gum to them. I don't eat much spicy food and it was right for me, others might want to ask for more. Noodles themselves were great, but would have had more taste for the sauce. It was a lot of noodles so you might bring home if you are not very hungry. I would definitely try other menu items again. 4.5/5."

"If you're thinking about going here, DO IT!! Great service and felt like in Europe. Started with Turkish coffee that is stronger than American coffee and naturally creamy and comes in a small cup. You drink it until you get to the ground and then you stop. Very recommended. You also have American coffee with free refills. Also highly recommend the Albanian Omelette. The homemade meat was amazing and comes with this homemade pepper on the top with a side of hash brews (get these with cheese and onion top). We also tried the eggs Benedikt with Haschbraunen. Everything people got looked so good. Many choices in the menu. Try this place for a great service and hearty homemade food!"

"20 years ago, I used to deliver products to Richardson's Ice Cream. Loved making deliveries there. I always got something for the road when I left. Always remembered that. No matter what I got, it tasted great. Finally, back in the area, HAD TO GO BACK... I was not disappointed. Many more flavors then I remembered... My wife was equally impressed. We were staying in Salem and had found a small shop that sold Richardson's Ice Cream, had to get some more...."

"Great place for coffee, tea, breakfast or lunch. Get some beer and wine on the way out. I had The sugar river market bowl. Pesto marinated fresh mozz, romano tomatoes, garlic edamame, pine nuts, power grains and lettuce with a maple vineagrette. Very fresh and hit the spot."

"We got a recommendation to go to K-Peppers. I've never had Korean food, but I'm always interested in tasting food from different cultures. We were totally blown away, how amazing everything we tried! The owner was our server and he was great. K-Peppers is now a family lover and we will be regular!"

"My family wanted pizza for dinner as were we driving through Middleton on our way home after a vacation. My wife found this little spot, and we’re so glad we stopped. The restaurant sits among a string of other little shops and restaurants. When we pulled into the parking lot, we saw a four tables outside with some people at a couple of them. The inside isn’t large, with eleven tables throughout the narrow building. You order at the counter and then they give you a number. They bring the food out to you. My wife had read they had different kinds of mozzarella. Sure enough, they had four varieties: a house-made mozzarella and a water buffalo mozzarella, both of which you could also get smoked. The man at the cash register was super friendly and walked us through the cheeses and his recommendations. The pizzas come in only one size, and they’re designed to be eaten by one person. So we each picked our pizza and then customized it a bit. And for the most part, additional toppings are just $1, a great deal for a place like this. Some specialty items were $3, though. A sign in the restaurant explains that the pizzas are cooked for 90 seconds (Novanta means 90) at 900 degrees in their wood-fired oven, so it doesn’t take long to make them. The crust on the pizza was perfect. It wasn’t too crisp but just had that right amount of chewiness. The tomato sauce was wonderful with just the right amount. I had tried the Regina pizza and asked that the water buffalo mozzarella be added to one side and then added their house mozzarella to the other half. Both were good, but I’d get the water buffalo cheese again for certain. I don’t normally order a dessert, but we had been sitting a while just visiting, and I decided we should try their lemon sorbet. They serve it in the lemon peel itself. It was smooth without being overly tart. The four of us devoured it quickly. I’d highly recommend this little restaurant. The food was great and the service was outstanding!"

"I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened, and today is the first day I am very disappointed. When I first walked in, I was not greeted, just stared at. I ordered the Spinach Pie, and baklava. The Spinach Pie was automatically put into a to-go container and set on the counter in front of me; but I wasn?t planning on taking it to go. The lady who checked me out was rather rude overall. When I asked her for a plate (as I told her I never told the guys I wanted it to go), she just grabbed a plate and put it on top of the styrofoam to-go container; didn?t take the food from out of the container and just put it on a plate like a normal person would have. When I sat down to eat the Spinach Pie was wet and soggy, barely had any phyllo dough. The baklava was also wet and soggy; no flakiness or crispness that baklava should have. Basically tasted like wet honey water flavored paper. Huge waste of money this time around."

"Wow. This place is amazing! The food is fresh, delicious, tasteful and delicious!! I tried the southwest protein shell and Korean BBQ sandwich. This is one of the best salads I ever had!!!! Each ingredient was fresh, crispy and delicious. Everything in salad went very well together. The Korean BBQ Sandwich was pretty good, the bread was the best part. It has a kick, so if you are not like a touch of spices, I do not recommend it. You have wonderful portions, so it is a good value. I love it covered with a chocolate strawberry and a role!! I will definitely be back"

"First off let me say the IHOP building and interior is beautiful. But that's very deceiving when you think you're going to get good food. This will be the 3rd restaurant in Madison I have reviewed in 4 days that have BLAND food. Im not understanding why this town has such bland food. I had to douse my food in salt and pepper to even taste anything. Got a fruit splasher that had no fruit and was sour. I asked for biscuits and gravy and was told by one of the cooks you don't have it we're out. Then another said yes we do a few mins later. So that employee is literally lazy and doesn't want to cook. The blueberry pancakes were seriously questionable. Bright green blue so after a few bites and seeing that I stopped. If I get sick I know where I got it from. Poor place for a restaurant."
