"I'm not gonna lie, when we first pulled into the parking lot I thought what kind of restraints is this in a strip mall? After walking in the door, my opinion was already swayed. It's a very classy little restaurant. After appetizer, salad, main course, and dessert, I was more than full. Every food that was brought out to us was delicious. The service was great. I can't think of a single thing that was negative about my visit. If you like Italian food, you owe it to yourself to eat here. Francesco walked out of the kitchen and sat in the dining room as we were finishing up, as it was closing time. A very soft spoken, well mannered man. Eat here, you won't be disappointed."

"The tavern has a nostalgic charm reminiscent of Colonial Times. The staff is dressed in period clothing and the food is delicious. The service is excellent as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in experiencing authentic Colonial cuisine."

"The 3 of us had a nice lunch here before our wine tasting. I had the spinach salad which had a lot of bacon, goat cheese, and other yummy things. My brother had the gnocchi and said it was the best he's ever had (and he is critical). The service was great."

"Loved that they had vegan cheese and a ton of vegetable toppings! As soon as I said I wanted vegan cheese, the worker asked if I wanted him to change his gloves! I've never been asked that before, but they do touch everything with their gloved hands so I said yes (with a big smile on my face). Very impressed!"

"No call ahead seating or reservations first come first served It is spring break for quite a few nearby states so the place is very busy. We had a late lunch here today so the wait wasn?t bad at all. We sat outside on a covered patio next to a pond with koi fish. The food was outstanding. Even the kid?s menu was good. The hamburger platter came with a garlic bread that was really good. The bread is light and the garlic seasoning is perfectly done. And then there were the french fries. I don?t eat french fries often because they are mostly not that good. But Second Street did it well. We ordered crab pile, baby back ribs and seafood bake. The dishes were well done. The seafood bake was slightly spicy with a twist of creole taste. The crab pile was large lump crab meat. Baby back ribs were fall off the bone tender. We were really full after the entrees but decided on dessert anyway. The mixed berry crisp and vanilla ice cream did not disappoint. It was a very nice lunch. Service was great too. Server was really friendly and attentive. Certainly will come back if I visit Williamsburg again."

"While visiting from out of town again, paid another visit to this family owned and operated jewel. The family is warm and forthright and the servers are the same. We dined here on Valentine's Day and once again, everything was outstanding. Kristen was out server and it was not the first time we enjoyed her service. She is an asset, that's for sure. You will get a visit to your table for either the patriarch or his son. Both of these men are a pleasure to talk to. So if you're ever in or near Williamsburg, Va. Giuseppe's should be on your dining go to places. Thanks again, Folks."

"Amazing find on our road trip! We stopped in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised with amazing service, delicious food, and true craft beer. Our server Rae (Ray? was super friendly and knowledgeable and the smoked wings were some of the best I've ever had. Super affordable and delicious, would highly recommend! I'm also not the type to leave reviews, but this place was that good."

"First, Paige was awesome!!!, three exclamation points well deserved. It was a long hot day and she stopped by to chat with out daughter that just made a huge difference. The food was very delicious, I had the burger that seemed like it would have a lot of distinct flavors that may over power each other, bit they blended perfectly. The pulled pork version was equally great, but think I preferred the burger. My wife had the fish and chips which was light and refreshing. We had a small issue with some Flies since the doors were open, but we all live some malt vinegar on the awesome fries and the flies hated that! Worth the stop."

"Ordered a bunch of different things, started with a pound of brisket, pulled pork, and pulled chicken. The pork and chicken was amazing. Juicy and flavorful. The brisket on the other hand left a lot to be desired. It was dry and crumbling with little taste. The corn bread and rolls were great, everyone loved them. The deep fried pickles were a hit too, they had a nice kick to them. The white mac and cheese was absolutely cheesy and delicious, the potato salad reminded me of homemade. The only other complaint is I had to pay for BBQ sauce, who charges for BBQ space at a bbq place? Also I didn't find out until after I returned home with the food. I spent $120 and had to pay for sauce."

"WOW! Only seven years in a fabulous run? in what must have been a pretty survival, always hiding as it is today behind the Velvet Shoelace in the whole Reign of Terror, as we find . . . . . and Cochon on 2. is a legend AND a reality! It costs you. I was invited to look at the designer drink list and the wine list before I could even see the dinner menu. Both are of course very impressive, but unfortunately I was hungry tonight as thirsty and alone I would drive! A jewel in the crown for billionaire boys? Club, this magnificent New American restaurant seems to have almost more chefs than males? and if they don't politely have a badly dressed baseball cap training client out of the door, my elegant and friendly waiter David G G G G G had to take his way through his solicitous colleagues to take my order! Never, I guess someone stumbled through their door, so completely unprepared to face such a formidables menu. I'm sorry, looking for an innocent appetizer or maybe a salad? I went into what the mother of fine cuisine in Antic Williamsburg must be. Louis XIV would have loved this place. I love this place and I'm back? the food is ALL excellent, and the staff is friendly a fun? Next time hopefully write a much more considered review. "I had a terrible experience with the staff today! I won't publish their names for privacy, but I've never been so humiliated and mocked by an employee in my whole life... I ordered in the drive thrue and of course I checked the bag to make sure it was right before I pulled away I noticed that my order was not the salad I asked, and so I took my entrance and the container and came into the counter. I worked in fast food myself, so of course I am very respectful for employees. I even declared and apologised for the inconvenience to ask for the salad I PAID for the girl at the counter. before I know that I have gone the chef who yelled at me and said, stick to me, ask what my problem was and I replied, I can just get some salad and she says oh really Cuz I don't see the problem that I did what I could with your damn order THEN THE GIRL FROM THE DRIVE THRUE begins to laugh, your order was ridiculous, but whateva gim On my way out a nice older woman gesture to come to her and said I don't think what I just heard you're sweet as mad I'm not coming back here and I'm not!"

"I have ate at this location many times, and it is always excellent. I ate there today but I was not satisfied. The Pho smelled off/different maybe due to the poor looking round steak in my pho and was not nearly as tasty as it has been in the last three years. I also got a Boba tea and it was very chunky with large chunks of ice. Normally, the quality is very good. I don't know if this location has changed management or if the people working there aren't as attentive this does not apply to my waiter who was very attentive as they used to be but I was definitely let down. Hopefully it was a fluke."

"In Williamsburg for a 2-week stay last week, Casa Pearl was our first dinner, and it was so good that we returned this week. Last week we had the roasted oysters and grilled fish (black sea bass this day). This week we had fresh oysters, ketches, smoked fish, shrimp toast and filled local shells. Both meals were BY FAR the best food we found in this area, and it is as some of the best food we eat in the USA. The cook knows how to concentrate on the main ingredient and uses additional ingredients only to support the main product to ensure that it shines. Everything is made here, even the sauces for the oysters (freshly rubbed horse stable is phenomenal and their own hot sauce (not vinegar, but fermented!) . Each dish was special in its own way, and we would have one of them again (and again...., especially the grilled whole fish. As if it wasn't enough to serve delicious food, the decor is clean, slim and ultra-comfortable. Every single employee we met was polite, knowledgeable and committed. Our only complaint is that Casa Pearl is not about 600 miles north!"

It's also a great choice for dining with friends or family who may not typically choose vegan options. I recommend trying their garlic sauce or Tahini Caesar dressings - they're creamy and completely vegan!"

"With my doubts think that this was another small town, no Mexican steakhouse know with the usual and nothing special. When looking at the menu I came across the usual stacks of dishes, but some were somewhat original and at a decent price. To begin the things from the tortilla chips and salsa with the menu, were not bad, but nothing was too bad at all. I ordered the Steak Cheeseburger with Pommes and was not disappointed at all. The Pommes were a good step over fast food quality and were pretty good and the burger itself was well made. My only complaint about the burger was the jalapenos that came on it, was tasteless and brought nothing to the sandwich, but filler. Otherwise a great dinner, very filling, short waiting time, simply on the wallet, great atmosphere and good waiters. The bar in the back is what I will check next time, but I will be back next week"

"Long drive from Florida and stayed at the hotel by this restaurant. Walked over and was not expecting a whole lot but were we surprised. Excellent meal and service with very good prices. Full bar and family friendly. I would recommend and would not hesitate to return."

"Shorty saw sweet, clean and parking was easy. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. I had a catfish sandwich, frying and drinking for $13 and my friend had a bowl chili, pastrami sandwich and frying for $16. The sandwiches were very good, fresh and hot. The chili tasted good, but was lukewarm and the pommes were not good. They weren't hot and were fat, tasted old. We didn't eat them. We give Shorty's another try and come back to breakfast."
