"I heard big things about this place, so my expectations were pretty high. Happy to share that they not only fulfilled my expectations, but exceeded them. Booked too early and was still sitting immediately. Great table right against the window overlooking the low land and the water. We were immediately greeted by our waitress Beth. Extremely professional, efficient and so very friendly, this is how great service is done. The drinks ordered and they came right away. Then we were brought a basket of freshly made Hush puppies that were as good as they come: slightly crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside with exactly the right amount of gum. Beth then gave us the start in the menu and made some great recommendations. We asked about that? You Crab? Soup, she ran into the kitchen and brought us a taste, it was really good, thick, hot, creamy with a lot of fresh Crab. We ordered the Snow Crab appetizer serving with real melted butter, super fresh and tasty. Then tried a bowl of gumbo, really hot, as soup should be served. Soup was really good with a lot of taste, a lot of sausage too. For our net we ordered a local favorite Shrimp and Grits we never had before. We really enjoyed it, but warn, super hard. Shrimps were fresh and delicious served over the well prepared and creamy grits. I had freshly steamed Maine Lobster, which was beautifully served with fresh Corn, Red Potatoes and more Shrimp.
