"This is a secret hiding place that my wife and I discovered when we walked the tiny streets of Perkins Bay. This place is very safe! April the hostess welcomes you at the front door, gives you a menu and gives you a few minutes to decide what you want to eat and drink. Then go in to place your order. Once you place your order and pay you sit. We sat outside looking at the sea. We had a selection of products that were all top quality, fresh and delicious! Haddock and Clam Chowder had good amount of seafood and tasted like the sea... it did not have bacon and heavy cream to mask the taste. Oysters come from Maine and very fresh. Shrimp tempura was top notch, not greasy, very fresh flavors. Now for the Entrees... Hawaiian Poke and a grilled yellow fin sandwich. Wow, the Poke tasted like me in Hawaii... I loved ginger and seaweed salad (wakame). The Poke was over white rice. Simple but bursting with flavors. The yellow tuna was very rarely grilled. It was so delicate, I could cut it with my fork. It came on a bungalow with Arugula and a Wasabi Mayo. Next time, I'll ask you to deconstruct it since part of the bungalow became soggy. Hey, everything was perfect except a soggy-hook... no big thing... we'll be back next weekend to have another wonderful meal with a view of the beautiful sea. Oh, I forgot to mention, we also had a bottle of red wine from Spain that went well with the food."

"The place to dine in Ogunquit, Maine. We visited Nikanos for the first time after favorable reviews. For beginners, I ordered the shells that were the best I ever had. What taste and sauce were made with a delicate Ouzo recipe. My companion had the grilled octopus over a mixture of beans, tomatoes and potatoes that were just delicious. For Entrees I ordered the braided lamb and the better half ordered the fish of the day that was branzino. Again both were wonderful and burst with taste. The service was great... our waiter Christian did double duty as a bartender, but was on the job. Our host, Mark and Jennifer, who are also owners, were very present and friendly and often checked for us, although it was a very busy night. We were not disappointed by Nikanos and will definitely return. We were very happy to see how lively it was dispite Covid-19. We wish them success. Hold on and see. You'll be back as we will. From today on August 22, I'm back three times. Every time better than the last. Mark and Jennifer are proud of a very lively and upcoming institution. I praise them and the entire staff for devoting to a successful business. On 30 July 2021 I had the pleasure of returning to this very successful establishment. it was nice to be welcomed by Jennifer and then Mark owners of the Fine Dining Restaurant. The service staff and, above all, the executive cook continued with the know-how of customer support. Meals were excellent and satisfying. No matter what you choose to order, you will be satisfied with your choice. The shells, lambs, chickens are supposed to die. Not to mention Desserts. Come and be satisfied with the service, food and a place you can return to. Over and over. You also have night entertainment. P.S. If Ali or Christian tend to bar. You're in fabulous hands."
