Living in Los Angeles, I flew back to the Midwest to attend a friend 's wedding. Well actually it was just the reception, but he didn 't tell me that until last minute. It hurt my feelings but staying at The Lodge helped ease the pain. Everything is so outdoorsy, everything that LA is not. It was a nice refreshing change of scenery. I wore a cowboy hat just to fit in. The names of the rooms are all different animals, which was fun. We were able to make fun of our friend who got stuck in Brown Trout. The rooms are LARGE. Very nice northern themed lodge. we stayed in the middle of winter but still had a warm feeling. All the staff was very very pleasant rooms were nice. Good breakfast was included

I have traveled for work for the last six years. The experience at this hotel has been the best by far. They have been the most accommodating with the best cleanliness anyone could ask for. Comfortable beds and pillows, beautiful rooms. I have stayed at all the hotels in the area and this is hands down the best!! Great job Best Western crew!!

I love this place! My quilting group and I stay here twice a year for 4 days each time. The rooms are spacious, the lodge decorating is charming, and the breakfast has so many options. Plus, there 's a great restaurant in the parking lot and a shops and coffee places less than a block away. The best part is the helpful staff. They are so good to us!
