"My family came in today and were passed by numerous waitstaff multiple times who would make eye contact and then completely ignored us. The restaurant was not busy at all so finally I went up to one of the waiters just standing around at the bar and asked confused “so… do we seat ourselves?” because there were no signage. He replied in a short and rude tone “no. We will come and get you.” With no apology or recognition that we have been completely ignored since we walked in the door. We came in with a party of 5 on a Wednesday night. We’ve come in a ton of times being locals and have always had a good experience. Overall food and service was good, we got our bill and left over 20% tip. We looked at our bill the next day and noticed we had a 20% gratuity already added to the check that we weren’t made aware of nor was told about. In my 20 years in the service industry I’ve never been charged gratuity for a party of 5 let alone without being told it was already added. Seems a little sketchy, please do better.

Service is so slow here. Food is decent but high priced. I had the prime rib and it was decent, they were very proud of it for sure. Another time I had their special spicy Italian sandwich and it was very good. Ordered dessert a couple times and it took 30 minutes to get them both times. A cold brownie with ice cream and a piece of cake that came with ice cream too. I thought they were baking them. The servers are sometimes pleasant. Be ready to spend your evening here if you plan to eat. It isn't fast food. I do enjoy the atmosphere. The bar sounded like it was hoping.
