"A friend and I eat here weekly to talk the whole gossip, Lol. I call this casual food since appetizers, sandwiches, salads, burgers, wraps, wings and sides. Very good food! The staff is friendly and the food is served quickly unless you meet it during a rush time. This is a small, family-run place and very popular, so there are times you might need to wait a few minutes, but they run to serve and meet all the needs. The atmosphere is very sweet in beach theme decorations. Great place to eat and good for Mayodan."

"Asked for itemized breakdown of a to go order when paying at the register because the total was a tad high. Owner threw my credit card back at me and said it obviously needed to be free and shoved the food across the counter to me. I order to go from here weekly along with a bunch of co-workers. I usually have my food picked up but decided to go myself. After the owner stormed off another lady took my payment. I just paid what he said it was. Never been disrespected before in my life asking for clarification of the total! Turns out I was charged 2 bucks extra for a sub that wasn’t a foot long. Called themBack to tell them and they didn’t care. Told them I wouldn’t eat there again and they said “that’s fine” and hung up. Goes to show what they really think about their patrons."

"Great place for a quick bite. Staff and atmosphere are great. The food itself was missing something, but reflects the cheap prices. This would be a bigger problem if it were not for the low prices. The hash browns are similar to McDonald's instead of everything that is done in the house. The sausage was quite dry (heated frozen patty) and the cookie was of similar quality. I'd visit again."

"I'm enjoying being fresh and kosher Star Pizza never disappointed me. The salad is always fresh as crispy and my duck hot and so delicious. I will do this to the owners who actually manage each layer to ensure that you only get the best."

"Went to mad bean today and it was packed two drinks and a sandwich. I sat in the corner and noticed that today only two ladies worked all the place. A young lady first day I could add) made the drinks and a second young lady made the food. These two ladies had all the place smooth and we're so nice. I've been in crazy bean and always had a great experience, but these two ladies do the work of a full staff and make my drinks and food perfection makes me appreciate the place even more. So for review, the food was fantastic and the drink was also. I recommend it."
