"I made a reservation with open table. When I arrived in fado, there was no hostess. I asked 2 waiters if they could sit me. They looked at me and said they were very busy, just sitting everywhere. I had a table reserved for outside in the shadow. there were no available. After we set ourselves, a waitress came around 15 minutes later and took our drink order. she came back with our drink, we ordered, brought us our food and I never saw her again. I had to get into the bar to get my own drinks. the waitress was super pleasant and was clearly not her fault that she was so busy. I owe it to the administration. what a disappointment. eating was fair for bare food."

Great food and good value. Like every food service and retail store today, they need more staff. But the team they have worked very hard to wait tables in a timely manner. Do visit and support, the food was great!

"This is one of the tastiest Mexican restaurants. The salsa is spectacular, made from roasted tomatoes and peppers. The menu actually covers dishes through out Central America. I love the short ribs with plantains. The restaurant is very clean and beautiful. The staff is welcoming. They have a great happy hour menu with drinks and appetizers. "Was looking forward to this place opening for a long time, and it's pretty much what I expected and hoped. The environment (inside or outside dining options is really nice; trendy but in a more-comfortable way. The service is terrific (props! and the kitchen is happily accommodating to changes or making existing meals vegan-friendly. Think a new routine for me will be stopping in here for a bite to eat before going to Whole Foods around the corner; might save me money on not shopping hungry, haha! This is the type of not-fully-vegan place I feel comfortable supporting."

At the dinner solo I prefer to pull it at a bar that is usually available. One of two servers, Chrissie, friendly and professional, put me right away. At 13:45 a.m., the crowd of lunch paid their cheques and left. Chrissie took my drink order with my Negroni recipe (1 shot gin, 1/2 shot compari and 1/4 shot sweet wormwood on rocks and spanned in a rock glass). It was perfect. Then I asked about Ciabatta or a rustic bread and knew that I was in trouble when she said neither was possible, only house bread. The house bread was like a store bought frozen dinner rolls. I ordered Shrimp and Asparagus Risotto, who had the taste profile of tap water. Although the dish served piping hot and shrimp was fresh, Risotto was lumpy and tasteless, asparagus finely chopped and tasteless.
