"My dad really wanted BBQ food. I found this place and it had fabulous reviews so I suggested we try it out. The street it was on and the building itself looked kinda sketchy but we headed inside anyways. There was quite a bit of people there and it looks like you order at the counter but they sat us down and gave us menus. We ordered the watermelon salad which was amazing!!! We were recommended here by our cousin visiting from the UK. A good selection of food. We collected our order and was ready within eight minutes which was good. The brisket was great I loved the idea of the pie, too much of stalk on broccolini , and pinto beans were good!Only one dessert very disappointing….

One of the best barbecue restaurants I've experienced, went for lunch on a weekday and ordered the brisket with mac and cheese and the honey butter cornbread. Probably the best mac and cheese I've ever had in a restaurant and that sweetness of the honey butter took the cornbread to another level! The brisket was perfectly cooked and moist and when paired with the sides, a match made in heaven. Definitely coming back to this place.

Currently in bed in the fetal position on the verge of tears. It’s hard describing the disgust I’m currently experiencing. Thankfully I ordered from DoorDash and I didn’t have to lie down on the floor of the actual restaurant from the traumatic experience. I’m not nauseous, there’s just an extreme feeling of something being wrong that’s piercing my soul. My stomach can tell what I ate(0.15oz brisket) wasn’t ever supposed to be edible to a human being. "Family-run joint so I really don’t want to write this but I have to after what happened here…The older grey-haired woman who co-owns the place works here is super rude.Disrespects customers.Bad vibes all-around.So I was going here about once a week for 4-5 months, spending 1.5-2 hrs each time working with my laptop.Then one day I ordered my coffee and was working on my laptop.Out of the blue the shorter male owner told me to leave because I needed to order 1 drink an hour to stay.Insane. I’ve never experienced anything like this.Pretty evidently I don’t feel welcome here anymore.I’ve run a successful $50k/month business with 8 employees so when I say that the disrespectful woman this “1 drink an hour” rule does the opposite of fostering a community contributing to building a long-term business, it has some merit and weight to it.If you like good coffee, this is a good spot to run into and get something to go. Ich fragte, ob er es auf der Reservierung notieren könne und er sagte, er würde es tun. Wir aßen zu Abend und sie brachten das Dessert heraus, das sie haben, nämlich die Bakhlava. Jetzt, da sie im Gastgewerbe tätig sind und bereits Erfahrungen gesammelt haben, bringen Restaurants das Dessert kostenlos heraus, wenn es einen Anlass gibt, und das habe ich von dem Gastgeber verstanden, der den Anruf entgegengenommen hat. Wie auch immer, sie haben den Scheck herausgebracht und uns das Dessert in Rechnung gestellt. Ich bat freundlich um ein Gespräch mit dem Manager Lawrence und erklärte ihm das Sitzen und zeigte ihm den Anruf auf meinem Telefon. Er ging und erkundigte sich bei der Person, die den Anruf entgegengenommen hatte und erklärte, dass ein Missverständnis vorliege und wir kein kostenloses Dessert anbieten. Aus Höflichkeit und in einem so gehobenen Restaurant würde man meinen, sie würden sich um das Dessert kümmern, wie mir das erklärt wurde, aber er lehnte es grob ab. Er war überhaupt nicht höflich oder hilfsbereit. Ich werde auf keinen Fall wieder an diesen Ort gehen und definitiv nicht schätzen, wie Lawrence, der Manager, uns behandelt hat"

"I had been waiting for some time to try stone crab again and this restaurant did not disappoint very excellent !! The atmosphere and service in this restaurant are outstanding and very elegant without any attitude. From greeting to paying the bill, everything was well executed, properly paced and made us feel like valued customers. My wife’s branzino was excellent and the side dishes of asparagus and mashed potatoes were served in the center of the table to be shared. We even managed to save some room to share a slice of key lime pie. It was truly one of the better dining experiences we have had in some time. It is expensive but for us completely worth it. And the stone crab was exactly what I hoped it would be !!"
