Slav is worth the trip. Beef is very good, but the hover is crazy! The best I ever had. And for the record it is unnecessary to call him. What other kind of ass-in-law do you ever see?

At first I cook pork in the same old-fashioned way Knoths does, but mine is not where near so good. Then two years ago I tried her beef... OUTSTANDING!! Last month I had the kids with me and got them a chocolate milkshake and it was the best I ever had hands down. If you stop good food with super friendly service, you will not be disappointed.

From Nashville towards Paducah, we stopped at the Kentucky visitor center on I-24 and asked if there were any barbecues in the part of the state that served Mutton (this is a "Ding" in the Owensboro area of Kentucky). The lady said that she thought that Knoth's Bar-B-Que, over in Grand River, maybe and it wasn't too far from our way. We drove west, got off the highway where she told us about the bridge for Lake Barkley Dam and there it was.
