"We were staying at the Sheraton where the Lava’s is. Hotel and the spot is overall great, but don’t waste your time for a meal or coffee anywhere there. The very Lava’s food is literally tasteless. Not sure why and how Sheraton allows this. Coffee? Not sure it was it. Lava’s staff could also show a bit more enthusiasm. There are plenty of options for great meals, incl. breakfast and coffee around the area such as: Alii Coffee, Eating House 1849, Break Feast, The Beach House"

Drinks, atmosphere and setting are great. But the food was very disappointing and made me never want to come back.

We found this place online, liked the website, and decided to visit. It was located in the Sheraton. After we sat down, the waiter informed us that the website was not updated, and they gave us a different menu. The view was beautiful, but we had to wait around 20 minutes to toast the croissant and bagel. The guava jam was excellent. We asked to replace the strawberry with pineapple, and they served a side of canned pineapple, which was disappointing in Hawaii
