"Top-notch service with attention to minute detail. As much as I loathe in general chain restaurants, this is a major exception. They are attentive and helpful. The food is always served in huge portions, and I always have a take- home box. For instance, when I was recently there, I was ordering within an hour of closing, and some snafu in the kitchen made my appetizer (stuffed mushroom) late, so without any mention, they comped me the dish. And were so apologetic. <br/ <br/ The food is always hot when it is supposed to be and cold when it needs to be. Even the plain spaghetti and meatballs is a delight. Good food, great service. I just arrived in Birmingham and was looking for a place to eat near the airport before starting a 90 minute drive to my destination. I found this location of the Olive Garden using the Urban Spoon app on my iPhone, and really enjoyed my meal. I had the new chicken veg lasagna entree, along with the classic Olive Garden salad and a strawberry/mango lemonade that really hit the spot. Coffee and a nice small desert at the end and I was ready to hit the road. My server was very friendly and accommodating, and I felt well looked after, but never hassled.<br/ <br/ I would definitiely recommend this location of the Olive Garden if you are looking for a good, Italian style...
