"Rose's Cafe is a nice little spot on Union St. We went there to check out their Fall Menu for SF Restaurant Week. My husband chose from the regular menu and I had the prefix menu. He order the Grilled Local Calamari with Lentils, Braised Green and Paprika Aioli. We didn’t expect this type of calamari but it certainly WOWed us in a good way. We highly suggest this for anyone who wants to have fresh calamari that’s not fried. My first course was the Roasted Beet Salad. It was a good portion that was simply delicious. It was WONDERFUL as always I just love it there service is always GREAT ….but this was even better….

What a wonderful find! Attractive space, good menu options and excellent service. It was Restaurant Week and they had a prix-fixe menu but we chose to order off the regular menu, as we didn't want too much food. The roasted chicken was huge, juicy and delicious. The fish was done perfectly. Highly recommend for 2-4 people.
