"5 Stars, not because it’s expensive (it’s not), or exclusive (I’d call it inclusive), although Blake is so good he could easily accomplish both, but 5 Stars because this place is phenomenal! We keep a very short list of “must eats”, for our 2 weeks in DC every year (so we can visit new places, of course), but this place easily became a “must”. They have hush puppies, my favorite puppy, they’re super good and the gator app is superb! Both are “must haves” every visit. Lauren is a tremendous working owner, easy to talk too, very friendly and always making sure each guest is happy. The andouille that they source is serious andouille! In both their jambalaya and the adult Mac n cheese (also available in vegetarian as per my daughters new found choice). Now, about those grits... some of the best grits north of the Mason-Dixon, and being originally southern, I’ve had my fair share. It should be available with every dish! Finally, the Key Lime Brûlée... words almost escape me... Mrs. Moynihan (of former the Firehouse, Boca Raton) would definitely either approve or be totally jealous, it’s just fantastic. This place is so very definitely recommended when you’re up here. Reasonably priced, great for families, and fabulous food. If you do decide to pass this up, then your DC experience is just not fully realized."

"If you plan to have curry as a specialty it would be a good idea if the chef has tasted curry before. No seasoning, bland, not good. Also the turkey in a hot brown should be real turkey not lunch meat. Very disappointing. Server appeared not thrilled to be there, doing the absolute minimum she had to do. Again very disappointing. Meal type: Dinner"

"One of the worst dinning experiences we have had. It took 1 and 1/2 hours to get our food after ordering and it was barely warm like it had been on the warming rack for a long time. The special of the day was meatloaf was it was had a burnt taste and uneatable. Others who came after us had gotten their meal before us. It was just the two of us so not dealing with a big group. Manager was condescending and seem like she really didn't care and was upset we brought up an issue. No way are we going back to the place!"

"The view was wonderful. Maybe we went on an off day from the reviews, even though it was Saturday night, but the food was not very good. I got whitefish tacos and the fish was close to spoiled I could not eat it. My friend got a half Caesar salad and pretty big pieces of chicken on top. The bowl was small so she had to try to cut the chicken with a full bowl while eating. She also gave me some chicken to put on my tacos. I’m not sure the waitress understood when I told her the fish might be bad/possibly spoiled, as she said she didn’t like fish either. Tried to explain again when she came back as I didn’t want anyone else to have to eat that and there was not much of a reaction. Again, hopefully it was just an off night and I understand the pandemic has messed with a lot of logistics. I would just recommend smelling the fish before serving."

"So I am sure that everyone knows about the labor shortage that's an issue for most businesses. Having said that if you do hire someone you need to make sure they are capable of doing the job correctly. The food at Mojo Rosa's was good took a little longer than it should but overall was good. The problem was with the server who I guess was the bartender also. I don't want to include her name, but overall was disappointed. We had a beer while we waited for food and the keg popped (no big deal) so instead of changing it and pouring full beer we got a 1/2 beer full price and then she disappeared for 15 mins so we couldn't get another. Honestly was not even worth arguing about since she did not seem to care about customers just the regulars that she talked with the whole time. There are a lot of options in Door County to eat and if they don't provide good service easy to go somewhere else."
