"probably the best Bosnian cuisine and cevapi' (infected bark meat) in astoria (can even be wider ajvar (a spice/spread from a roasted and peeled red pfeffer) is not my cup tee at this place, and that is the only thing I would change. to be sour and tasteless, to my mind. the brot 'somun that goes with a meat is absolutely delicious! traditionally they should eat cevapi' w/o fork and knife, so keep it in the head. the menu is small but consistent. there are many other special areas: sudzukice' (art der wurst), raznjici' (chicken or bark kebabs), pasulj' (white bean stew with bark meat) and burek' natural (pee with bark meat)! they also make traditional Bosnian deserts: tulumbe, urmasice, bak...

I recently had my first taste of authentic Bosnian cuisine and I was blown away. I went with a Bosnian friend who knew exactly what to order. The cevapi is a must-try dish. I also took home some kadaif and bombice, both of which I loved, but the kadaif was especially incredible. I highly recommend making the trip to this restaurant and I will definitely be returning.

This is the top spot for Balkan cuisine in New York City! Not only do they make delicious food, but they also make an effort to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines by wearing masks indoors. Whenever my wife and I are in NY, we always make a point to stop by and grab some ćevapi. The service here is much better than many places in New Jersey where people are allowed to smoke indoors.
