"Fantastic service and food, almost everything hit the mark from what I would expect of a place like this. Service was attentive without feeling overbearing, always there right when I needed them or sometimes just before. Excellent wine and cocktails to pair with your courses. If you can't get a table just a seat at the bar for one of the cocktails would be worth going out of your way for. All of the food was well presented and of very high quality. Delicious we went there last night to celebrate my birthday and had an incredible time. We got lucky and our waiter arranged for us to get a tour of the kitchen. I'm not sure if other people ask for the tour at this restaurant (I've seen people get tours of Acadia, Next and Alinea) but it was still cool to see. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

This review is late to the party, however I just couldn't help but say that I absolutely loved the experience I had here. This was my first time ever visiting Chicago and I can't say enough about it. I ate here before the remodeling, however will say the ambience at the time was very nice. The lighting was just right, choice in dish-ware was unique. My only complaint would be that it was a bit loud (we were sat next to a larger table) which isn't always the most romantic for date night.
