"So before reading this review take note I travel the world and I personally cook in a professional level and I’m judging a little place in Killeen. Anyways. The hospitality is unbelievably amazing. Not just my waitress but everyone will check on you (we wasn’t the only table).The food on the other was not the best-chicken was full with nerves, chewy and just low quality-the house bacon that is 6 dollars by itself was nothing special-the chorizo tacos was brought to me cold with a weak sweet taste. Chorizo should have a bold taste and be flavorful. Inspecting the meat it didn’t look season at all.-the over easy eggs was over cooked.-the waffle need to be mix better. The “great value” box mix...

This place is a hidden gem and I hate to have to tell people about it super fresh food and everyone was very nice.

had a wonderful breakfast eating was delicious and the portions are large. the service was great and everything was freshly cooked. the eggs are real eggs that are not cast out of a glass, overall I recommend checking them for a well cooked breakfast.

in this case, the basis for other assessments. eating is hot and fresh with great aromas. space doesn't look like much on the inside and it was kind of warm, but if they are more concerned about food quality than look, it's a great little place. I had the maple syrup glazed pork bell breakfast sandwich. waitress suggested to have it on a whole bagel and it was wonderful. big enough that I could only eat half. my man had the big Tex breakfast and he couldn't finish his teller either. large pieces of homemade brat potatoes with beautifully baked and fried chicken legs.

"we had the most wonderful dinner at giovanni’s. the food was great and the service was even better. my wife had the calf parmesan from which she was slapped. the Tuscan suppe and salat with a house made tomaten and basilikum dressing also a hit. I had the ribeye aka cavor, one of the best steaks that I had in a long time, covered with a light scab sauce with green pfeffer grains. hot broth. fresh vegetables. our server was megan. if they ever drive through lampasas or if they are looking for a destination to dinner, giovanni’s is a great place to go. ask for megan."

"I read through a lot of the reviews and decided to give this a try. Weeks went by and as I was driving into cove and pulled right in to the parking lot. When I opened my door I was met with this breath taking smell of hawaiian bbq. Walking into throughthe front door I was immediately greeted not only by staff but the huge menu too. After studying the menu I decided on thenumber 2 for myself which included, a pork rib, chicken katsu, rice and macaroni salad . My husband also got a number two butwith brisket, kalua pork and a double salad. He enjoyed his plate a lot! The salad was crispy and fresh, the pork and brisketwere super tender and flavorful. As for mine...katsu was nicely breaded and crunchy, the rib was fall off the bone (literally)but the sauce had an acidic background but not a lot of flavor. My sides were rice, which is fluffy and sticky. On it was a typeof teriyaki sauce and wow it was good!! The other was macaroni salad which had a creamy texture but again no flavor. I alsoordered 1 egg role and 1 spam musubi. The egg roll I feel was like something you get when you order chinese and the musubi wasmeh. The musubi rice to meat ratio was way off and the meat was barely on the other side of cooked. Honestly this place has thepotential to be good just have to add seasoning to some stuff. I will be back for the katsu for sure."
