"Well here it is. Friday night, and we decide to leave the depths of Mandarin and venture out to the Southside and try out The Melting Pot. We made reservations and off we went. When we arrived we were greeted by a few hostesses with a warm welcome. The restaurant had an inviting atmosphere. The hostess proceeded to bring us to our table. We waited for our server. About 10 minutes later he shows up and asks us for our drink order. Our wives ordered wine while the men had beer. After another good 10 min we received our drinks. Best meal I’ve had in ages. Our food was wonderful and the service was exceptional. Rori was our server and she did a great job! Very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. And did I mention the chocolate: to die for! Can’t wait to come back.

We came here around Valentines Day. They had a 3 course special for $59. It included a salad, cheese fondue and an entrée. I got the Felt Mignon and my wife got the Trying-Marinated Sirloin. We were a little disappointed that it came with cheese instead of a chocolate fondue for dessert. We would have liked that better than a cheese fondue appetizer but I guess that's how they get you to spend more money. The service was good though and so was the food. We would come back.

First Visit James was an exceptional server. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Since it was our first visit, he made great suggestions. We felt like we received an extra special touch. We will definitely be back! Second Visit Hope was our server and she was great. She was attentive and answered our questions, she even went to the manager to ask about a special request. Although it could not be filled we appreciated her willingness to ask. Thanks Hope for a great job!
