"This is now my favorite place to go for Vietnamese food, and one of the top 10 restaurants I've ever been to! Such a special find for my foodie husband and I.Pho is incredible (and also available at this restaurant) but Vietnam has a lot more than pho to offer, and we struggled to find alternative dishes in Orem.We stumbled upon Pho Bien Hoa and decided to take a chance. We asked for recommendations and the friendly staff asked insightful questions to find the right fit for us, then patiently explained how to eat our choices. Every restaurant is having a hard time finding staff so we were impressed by the fantastic and prompt service we received.Serving sizes were great, we left completely full and still had leftovers. We chose the following and will certainly be back for more:• Canh Chua Cá (Catfish in Tamarind Broth)This was the biggest win for us! It's a sweet dish (initially) that you bring to a boil. Once it's boiling, you take the catfish out and set it on the accompanying plate with peppers and fish sauce, bringing some spice to the sweet dish. Such a complex flavor! I have a fairly low tolerance for spicy food but was able to handle it. The spice complemented the dish without overwhelming it. You don't have to use the peppers and fish sauce if those don't suit your tastes.A server informed us that the Hot Sour Seafood Pho has a similar flavor as the original soup.• Mì vit tiem (Vietnamese duck noodle soup)This was a special for the day and may not always be available, but we were very happy with this savory dish.• Jojo #3 dessert (white red mung beans, taro paste, honey boba, rainbow jelly, coconut meat, pink pearls, pandan jelly with coconut milk)Vietnamese desserts are seriously underrated and not as available as they should be in Utah. The textures and flavors in this made for the perfect sweet treat!Thank you, Pho Bien Hoa Jojo Teahouse Desserts, for the incredible experience and meal!"
