"My husband and I are celebrating our 30th anniversary this week and we got off to a great start at our hotel and it's in house restaurant. Gerardo was our server and he was excellent. He was able to answer all of our questions concerning the menu and delivered impeccable service. Both of our dishes were delicious and unique. I would highly recommend for a delicious reasonably priced meal. We were sitting close to a family with small children....they were having a great time in a relaxed atmosphere."

"Poor--extremely slow service. Food was mediocre, but for the corn chowder ordered by one of the attendees. It is unfortunate that Basil 's was refreshed into The Jolliet House because the service level and food quality were not improved."

"We had breakfast here after one night in the Drake Hotel. How cool was it to be dining in a spot that you know some of the most infamous names in Chicago's history held court. We loved the “private-ish” booths, the service was excellent, and overall we found the food to be good. It's all fairly basic breakfast items but they do them well here. "Ivan in the bar was more great. His drinks were perfectly mixed. Kim D our waitress was beautiful. She reserved our table while we had a drink at the bar. And was very attentive while we eat. The food was quite expensive and delicious. We will definitely be back for another date night. Our experience was so amazing that we book a room next time. Thanks for the fantastic night."

"We went for Thanksgiving brunch and couldn't have had a better time! The food was fresh and yummy! The service was attentive and friendly. It was a little pricey but with bottomless mimosas and champagne it was totally worth it! I would highly recommend for any special occasion."

"Just OK. Hotel has changed breakfast to a food beverage per night that does not cover the cost. Limited items on the buffet. Worlds thinnest bacon. Disappointed with the changes Hilton is allowing at its upper tier hotels. Bar uses powered and premixed mixers for cocktails, super sweet cocktails."
