"Don't get me wrong, Chickie's Pete's has solid food. The wings are excellent, they've got a good selection of burgers, and they've got the expected selection of seafood. However, as expected for a restaurant right on the boardwalk, the prices are certainly inflated. The burger was already pricy, and the fries have to be ordered separately. We went on a Sunday during the NFL season, so the Giants game was on while we ate, which we actually preferred. However, the volume was so high they we could not hear each other speaking. When the game ended, the restaurant started playing music that was at the same volume where we couldn't hear ourselves think. Overall though, the food was good, and the wings were a standout. If your hotel is nearby, Chickie's Pete's might be a great option if you're looking for a sit-down dinner and don't want to veer too far from your hotel."
