"So I generally don't like loud and sisteric restaurants. and too foot on 's is loud and sister. but I won't make any points for them. it says clearly sporty on the outside, so I knew what I expected to go in. I thought the music would be loud and energetic, and that there would be a million tvs that dress all the walls. and that I did. what I did not expect: a bona fide amazing Venetian themen restaurant masquerading as sportable. but that's what I have! The drinks are a bit expensive over $10 for most I've seen. but luckily it was Sunday happy hour, so I got a perfectly decent **** mary for $5.00 I started with the teufeln on horse fried garnel with speck, cheese and jalapenos. that was amazing. the garnels were huge and generously wrapped in speck. there was only enough jalapeno and cream cheese to add a hauch of taste, but not enough to overwhelm the taste of the garnels. these were served with a sweet and spicy sauce that was well paired. for the main course I had the red-bark rudy with warm tomatensalat and louisiana street mais. the reddish was tender without too much spiciness (which I was surprised by, as black teller tends to be a bit overloaded with spicy). the delicate fish meat paired very well with the bang of the hot tomats and the zilantro of salsa. the dish was good as it was, but was improved a bit with a dash tobasco. after the spicy drink and garnel, I felt more spicy was necessary to bring the fish to the same taste profile. my server, kyla, was very attentive and respectful, each request was met with a yes sir. You don't hear that many times today, and it was nice. I spent about $40 for the beverage remover and seafood. a bit more than you would expect to go into a sporty, but perfect in harmony with the amazing meal I had. they have other dishes on the menu that I "m happy to try in the future."
