"Overall, the meal was good with decent portion sizes. The service was fast and our orders came out quickly. We were given complimentary papad with tamarind and mint chutney, as well as a complimentary sequence of steamed rice with the veg curries. A good Indian restaurant in Monroeville!"

"The food was great and the service was too! We ordered a LOT of food, and Dee did a fine job keeping us filled up. Being new to Indian food, we wish there was a little better explanation on what each dish consisted of (some were spicy but not indicated in the menu, so make sure to ask) but everything we ordered was hot and very tasty and the portions are huge. We will return next year on our annual Braves trip."

"The food at this restaurant is delicious and there is a decent amount of seating available inside. We have previously ordered food from here through Uber Eats and found it to be tasty. The packing was good and the food arrived fresh and hot on time. When we visited the restaurant, the food was served quickly and hot. Some of the items we tried were Idli, punugulu, onion dosa, poori, upma, masala ravva dosa, and tomato rice. All the items, including the chutneys and sambar, were delicious. The staff was good and the owner was very kind to customers. There are many vegetarian options available, as well as a good selection of non-vegetarian dishes. We highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again."

"I have been eating food at Tabla for almost more than 5 years now. The quality of food is just amazing. I have never seen any compromise in the quality of food. Firstly I found all of their biryanis are really great. Secondly, I also enjoyed their Chhole bature, Pav bhaaji and Mysore Masala dosa. Recently I tried their paneer tikka masala, that was too good. Last year I also had catering service experience with them. The staff members are very polite and offered great service. One of the best Indian restaurants in San Mateo county."

"Gave a catering order from Mangoes. Despite saying the number of people, the Biryani/appetizers given as part of catering order was abysmal (very bad) in quantity. Had to go rush get biryani and appetizers in middle of party from some where else. Been a long time customer of this place and overall been a disappointing catering order. Guests weren't happy either. Other items were also qty wise not so great... biryani was a messed up in terms of qty. When asked about same...they were really casual about it being a regular in terms of qty"

"I tried their weekend buffet today and it was terrible. I would suggest not to waste your money on the buffet instead you can order the food and try if you like at least that. I hope they will add more items with better taste in the buffet for the price they are charging (18.99).Note: I can cook better spinach dhal than what I had here."

"If you want BBQ, save your money, do not go here. My sliced pork was waterlogged with no flavor at all. My son ordered chopped pork, it comes out looking more like minced pork. Still no flavor. My husband ordered the pork, chicken, and ribs. These did not have flavor either. The mashed potatoes taste and look like instant potatoes. Poor quality food. One the other hand, the French fries were ok. As far as the other food, you should probably pass and find another place to eat. We picked this place due to the ratings. Don’t trust the ratings"

"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. It was so bad that I had to be in the parking lot late at night. The Paneer Tikka Kabab was burned and dry, like a rock. The chef claimed that no one had ever complained about it before. They also didn't have any chutney, but instead gave me yogurt to go with it. The vegetable biryani had three large pieces of potatoes, which were only partially seasoned and lacked flavor. The chef said he had run out of salan. He had no regrets and shamelessly told me that I was expecting too much at that late hour. I should have paid attention to their low 2.3 star rating and avoided stopping by. It's no wonder I haven't been back in 27 years in the South Bay area. The best alternative would be to drive to Taco Bell instead. If you arrive a bit earlier, I recommend trying their biryanis."
