"I would recommend this restaurant to people who live in the immediate area or who will be in LIC for without a vehicle. I made a reservation via Open Table for six. We arrived at different times having to drive from different points all over New York. In the description there was a mention that the restaurant validated parking. That was not the reason I booked the restaurant but we asked about parking validation when we arrived and was told to give the tickets to the waitress when getting the check. Bring your patience! The offered the standard chips and some sort of salsa that contained some form of dairy which we only know because a member of the group has a food allergy. The server didn't ask about allergies or any restrictions so we had to ask about each individual dish. After a long wait, we got out of the dishes ordered. The two entrée salads came out last. The server didn't put the salad order in until after everyone else got their entrée. Then one salad came out while we waited for the other salad. Once we all had our meal we ate and the food was good.As with most restaurants a group of or more already adds a gratuity to the bill which is lucky for our server because she was the opposite of attentive. While waiting for the check, we handed the server our parking tickets for validation. She said that the restaurant doesn't validate parking any more; so we asked for the manager. Someone came to the table and said that their validation machine wasn't working. When we mentioned that no one said anything when we first arrived and asked for validation. After more back and forth they validated the parking. Their version of validating parking offering a discount.Parking in LIC can be quite challenging. And with our diverse group coming from as far as Suffolk County, Mount Vernon and Staten Island you can bet the next time we want to meet up for dinner we'll do it in Manhattan where public transportation is more accessible"
