"I can?t believe how bad this place is! It was quite empty when we walked in but we were hungry and craving Thai so we stopped here. Ordered a vegetarian stir fry, panang curry, green curry and cod wrapped in banana leaf. Everything was so spicy and hit our throat though we consistently ordered a level 3. The green curry was not palatable and basically the taste was subpar. Also, came out to 18$ per person. Also, the service staff was quite rude. The only way you can get ?goodthaifood? in this place is if you connect to the WiFi because that?s the password for their WiFi. Would not recommend."

"You have a few vegetarian options- veggie burgers and sushi that can be changed to be vegan. I recently got the sushi. It was okay. It had a lot of vegetables, which was nice. I wish the restaurant had more vegan options. Currently the only vegan item on the brunch menu is Guacamole Taro root chips on the appetizer menu that is not designed to be a full meal."

"Wow. Delicate yet energetic atmosphere where the food truly enlightens the mood. With a menu rotating on the daily, the potential for trying new curated dishes is endless. My wife and I ordered cocktails, For The Bees and Dappled Apple. Both strong and perfect for the vibes. For app, we ordered the biscuits with honey and butter, which had a comforting taste to the palate. For dinner, we ordered the Spaghetti Fennel Sausage dish and the Butternut Squash Lasagna. WOW (And that?s all caps purposely). These dishes were unique in their own ways and the best way to describe it is you actually cannot make this at home. These chefs are distinguished in their ability to create food that stands out, and we felt that with every bite. Thank you Nopa, we will see you guys soon. CHEERS MATE"

"we visited chicago and my friend came completely randomly over Ramen-San. as we both love smokers we decided to try. I ordered the Tonkotsu wheels and a reis plate of the Karaage chicken and for dessert we ordered the hot donuts. everything was delicious. the place was great, the atmosphere was great, and our server was amazing! when we visit chicago again, we will surely come back!"

"I’ve been wanting to come here for 20 years. I used to live a few blocks away, and the building was a laundromat in the 1990’s and yes I had flashbacks of plugging in quarters when I entered. But Nopa will exquisitely make you feel comfortable and the waiter is so focused and kind that it felt like he was waiting for us to arrive all week. LOL. We had the pork chop and the fried chicken. They knocked it out of the park. We had so much fun dining and chatting and eating one of the best meals ever. It was great to see Nopa in its resplendent grandeur as a first rate restaurant that truly welcomes you."

"Since the moment we were there, the host was very rude. She said the waiting time would be 30 minutes, even after our reservation time. We sat in the “wait zone”, but as a larger group, she pulled us out where we sat on a small bank where we didn’t fit. She was rude and the service was very unprofessional. Very disappointed"

"we came to a mostly empty restaurant. yet we sat beside one of the only occupied tables. we asked if we could sit elsewhere than the tables were fixed and our table would have another reservation in 1 hour 15min. none of these tables were filled during our time in the restaurant, but we were made to sit super close to another couple (the terrible table had managed, made worse by the close dead quiet of the restaurant.) we were ordered for sashimi. the 10 pieces plate. confirms with the waiter that it would not only be the ground fish (rented to order an LA card, if so.) the waiter assured us that it was not easy. it was easy and the fish was cut by someone who doesn't know sashimi. we are not coming back."

"We had lunch here today and it was excellent! For sushi, I had 1/2 surf and turf, 1/2 a Chicago and a Philadelphia roll. The fish was super fresh. The surf and turf was an incredible mix of flavors. I wasn?t sure about apple in my sushi. But I was wrong- it was delicious! My daughters each got some chicken teriyaki- the sauce was so flavorful and it was a really big portion(and came with soup and salad too! Service was excellent."

"We’ve been to the riviera house a few times since it first opened, and I must say the overall experience has been decreasing each and every time. This is the second time we come here to celebrate a special occasion(birthday), and this time was very disappointing. The service was very slow and the food did not meet expectations. Appetizers and drinks were good. We got the Thai calamari and poke nachos (both were good However, all of our entrees were tasteless. I got the ahi sandwich, and ended up eating just the French fries. We ordered a medium/rare steak and it was fully cooked. The arrosto de pollo was dry and the dish did not have much flavor. Not to mention, I did include to our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, and our server did not even acknowledge that. Not sure what happened this time around, but we were left very disappointed"

"Yes, it is a Sushi restaurant and I had a cheeseburger with mushrooms. Really enjoyed the waffle fries too! Delicious! Service was fast and friendly! The menu has many sushi choices. Check out the menu online!! I noticed some neighborhood people arriving and they ordered sushi, so that’s a good sign. (I could tell by their conversation with staff that they were regulars) There are about 8-10 tables, kind of a small place, but comfortable. I made reservations on-LINE BECAUSE I needed to leave by a certain time to attend a program at the STAN MANSION. It is only 1-2 blocks away. Only had to park once."
