"This place was our go-to spot for Vietnamese banh mi when we lived across the street. My partner loves the grilled pork and they really load up on their meat. We recently ordered from them again when we were in the area. At first they were hesitant to sell their classic sandwich when I asked for no mayo and pate because the sandwich won’t taste the same. It wouldn’t be as creamy and flavorful, which makes sense. But after explaining to them why I couldn’t eat those ingredients, and that I was okay with the different flavor profile, they were open to accommodating. Always good service and pretty good limeade sodas, too!"
