"Not gonna lie the food was great! Went there last Friday, But all of that got forgotten by the bitterness of being charged 3 times. The waitress was never rude but she also did swipe the card 3 times before the bank had to block it was not until that happened that she finally came back to inform about the issue, checked the bank and 2 transactions from Black Angus had gone through, she went and brought the manager and even after acknowledging the bank transactions he still asked us to pay a third time with some other form of payment, he said sorry for your charges but since they couldn't make the computer print then we had to be charged again but that he would call on Monday to get the issue fix, well its now Thursday and it took talking to corporate with very nice lady, Jacquie Manager of Guest relations, the bank, and several confirmation calls after that the extra transactions were able to be refunded. The entire thing was managed very poorly with something that could of been cleared up after the first swipe and by checking the transaction on the bank. Might take another risk because the food was great but will make sure I pay cash to avoid all of that stress again."

"The first thing you could see is that they were short handed, with that being said , every worker there was trying their best to make you feel welcome. Service was slow but with only a few servers helping many tables by them selves it is very understandable, they don't have arms and cannot be every where at once. I know our server was stressed but never let on while she was helping us. I wish I remembered her name to give her and extra shout out for her amazing attitude. As always food is amazing, congrats to the cooks for the perfect prime rib. Thank you guys and gals for being the best steakhouse !"

"Update From a 5 star to just one How sad I feel to write this review The food was amazing the wait staff also good people But.. the hostess well what I belive to be the hostess kicked us out of the restaurant She came to our table and told us we had a 90 minute time limit and we had to leave. We bought tall beers cocktails and 3 stake dinners and where going to continue to buy drinks. I've always enjoyed my outings Black Angus with my fellow coworkers or be a night out with my girl friend. Often it's always my first choice to enjoy a delicious meal and a couple of drinks. But after yesterday I will not be returning."

"I love BLACK ANGUS STEAK HOUSE... I and my partner love to treat us here for a nice date... Waiting time is usually about 20 minutes if your early for dinner is different than that that appear late and expect to wait atleast a 30min.. The extended walls on stand seats is great, it offers more privacy and time for conversations. The food is great, we usually get the fillet mignon and the two lobster tails around a $60 dish comes with two sides. the asparagus is ALWAYS delicious. And seasoned to perfection. The fillet is to die. I noticed more people usually order the Ribeye.. it's a little cheaper, but I'd rather go fillet. I would recommend it to everyone, it is always cooked exactly as I ask and is Soooo delicate when cutting or eating!! Lobster is also always perfect with the butter it comes served on the side.. The macaroni is HOUSE MADE and so creamy! Children or adults would definitely enjoy if you are a Makkaroni/Pasta enthusiasts!!! Also cut off with crispy cracks!! My darling! I noticed that a steakhouse will still use strength? BLAH disgusting!!! Staff and waiters are always very friendly and efficient.. All I need is quick and curtily with a smile on the face... I usually spend about $100 including a good tip while sharing a meal with my partner, but it's safe enough food for both of us!! Typically we add an additional page. With our last visit to Black Angus we decided not to choose a page, but with an appetizer. the loaded potato skins was our choice... Great. I could say they were slightly crunchy a tad over cooked, but still DELICIOUS... well enough that I would definitely order them again.. I would consider this a very MINOR complaint. The loaded potato boats will surely give me a bit of comfort food. Potatoes are served with acid cream. but please for Ranch to immerse them. it is the best!!! You can't go wrong!! I have a picture of the loaded potatoes.. Unfortunately, my meal looked so good to come to my table I ate it before I caught any pictures!! I'm sorry! Will update my post with the next visit. Please keep the big settings Black Angus. I not only enjoyed the food, but especially the service and hospitality as a guest. Thank you."

"We have never had any problems with anything. The fillet, Lobster tails, Sautee mushrooms, prime rib, EVERYTHING so delicious. The servers are always so nice helpful, so friendly with happy personalities !! We have NEVER been disappointed !!!! We have gone to other Black Angus 's, when we were out of our area, again, we have never been disappointed. One other thing that I might mention, they often advertise Specials , which we are always happy about go for the special, wonderful dinners. There have been several times that we were out about saw a Black Angus. I left the coupon for the specials at home. The Servers Managers, everyone are always so nice gracious. They honored the advertised Specials even without the coupons. We go to the Black Angus often, recommend them to others very often. I am hungry right now just thinking about the food great chefs staff working there to make our dining experiences exceptional. I forgot something !!! They keep their prices reasonable, especially compared to other steak house restaurants in the area, which allows us to be able to go out to a great restaurant, with wonderful food much more often !!!!"

"The Bonus of a free entree up to $35 was a good hook. I enjoy eating at Black Angus in Escondido. My Wife and I have been going there for years. The Filet Mignon was Very Good but the Grilled Shrimp was not. They were Dry and not enough seasoning. My Wife bought the Seven Shrimp Entree and felt the same about the shrimp. Our Server, Matt, was Very Good and hustle around the many booths he had to serve. We celebrated our Anniversary and the Cookie with the Ice Cream which was complimentary was Great. "OK. Black Angus is a franchise steakhouse that I did not have high expectations of before going into it for the first time. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and upscale the restaurant was. It is decorated and set up in such a way to make you feel comfortable but it also has very high standards. "Service and food were great. I definitely recommend Black Angus Steakhouse when you crave a nice juicy steak but don't want to pay the outrages so called up-scale steakhouse prices. "We ordered med steak and med rare prime rib. Steak came out rare and prime rib came out well done and dry. Not sure how you mess prime rib up, but there you go. Salad was watered down blue cheese and tasted more like water, soup had nutmeg in it or something was gross. They seated everyone right next to each other, even though there was only couples in there. Clustered us all right in front of each other. Manager is nice and our server was good. Just really disappointed in our food. We left without eating out appetizer and our dessert"

"July 7, 2022 visit: The food and the service were both outstanding! Our server, Emy, was wonderful! Great personality and she was very attentive, even though she had a full section to manage. Can’t say enough about her. Moving on to the the food, the filet medallions were once again awesome! They melted in your mouth and tasted fantastic. The baked potato and garden salad only added to the dining experience. On our previous June 1st visit, I had knocked Black Angus for the hardness of the molasses bread. This time, they more than made up for it, the bread was perfect! Keep up the good work and we’ll keep coming back! Thanks!"

"our server was just okay! we had a good idea, he forgot to enter, and we had to adjust the bill. my filet was huge and granular. had to go back and the second steak was well made, not medium. he also asked if we wanted to swirl on our steaks or garlic kartoffels. he didn't ask if we wanted it for extra fee. "On September 8, 2011, the BullsEye Bar was with guests who enjoy the Saints vs. Packers game and partaking in the season food and drink specials. The concept is a casual sports bar that brings back memories of the sports bar days in the middle of the 1990s. You have a great view from everywhere in the bar of one of the 10 Hi-Def flat-screen TVs that line its walls. The game Saints vs. Packers was up and the people grumbled when their favorite teams reached touchdowns. There are also free Wi-Fi in the bar. "A cute little restaurant bar with a nice out door dining. Lovely staff people who are super nice and sweet, however, I'm not a big fan of their fish and chips. Their fries are great, no salt and freshly cooked but the fish was too greasy and did not taste that good. I had to peel off the deep fried skin since it was very oily and did not stick to the fish very well. I wouldn't recommend the dish in the restaurant, I'd try something else.:"
