"Service was great and it was early in the evening around 6pm so it was very quiet. Veggie risotto was OK and Salmon was good. It was very quiet in a quiet business district for downtown SD on a Friday night. Good for a hotel restaurant but also overpriced like one."

"Wow, what a delicious and amazing surprise! Booked last minute because there was one time slot remaining on a Saturday night and I recalled the restaurant had a good reputation. What a delightful experience from start to finish. Service was excellent. People always filling your water glass and checking on you everyone in the restaurant seemed to work everywhere so you weren’t waiting for one specific server. Food was excellent!! Enjoyed the olives and meatballs to start. Then the super yummy shaved Brussels sprout salad with whole hazelnuts and cranberries. Then the black squid spaghetti with mussels I usually don’t love mussels and pork ribs that fell off the bone. Room was full but sound level decent considering. Got noisier later on though when music started around 9pm and a louder crowd was there. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a great evening. I look forward to returning there when the back garden is open."
