"Stopped by to pick up a late lunch/early dinner of Lechon. Succulent, tender pork pieces, black beans and rice, plantain, pickled red onion and sauces. I will be back. The owner isn't open for dinner right at the moment, but I am hoping she will be soon. There used to be a Cuban/Caribbean restaurant on San Carlos Ave in San Carlos, but it closed, sadly. I am hoping she can extend her hours and stay for a long while in San Mateo. The food was very tasty. Of course, I also loved the music playing in the background. Definitely going back for the Cubano!"
