"Del 's Cafe is a must go breakfast destination when we fly fish in SE Minnesota. Located on Hwy 74 when it passes through St. Charles, MN. Their breakfast skillets are among the best I 've sampled from everywhere. My favorite is the smoked sausage skillet but any of them are fine. Nothing fancy but very good, simple food. This is the hangout for the locals and it has a comfortable, friendly, hometown atmosphere."

"they brought me huh when I ordered laughs, my friend ordered an extra food that never came, our drinks taken forever, I had to go to get my own cutlery, and I think they are a tad overpriced and I fine dunes often. so that said the dj was great for the atmosphere that actually tasted great, and the gastender was very helpful."

"I've seen a lot of negative reviews about the service here and not sure why. We just got back from dinner at Jakes and the service could not have been better. Our waitress Kanayo(? was great. Kept checking back, was knowledgeable about the menu, offered to go drinks. Professional and friendly. All the other waitstaff seemed equally proficient. Orders came out promptly. Food was good. My husband's ribeye sandwich was great. It's cold here tonight and soups were incredibly hot. My burger may not have been the thickest but it was big and loaned with bacon. I would definitely go back ... probably for breakfast tomorrow."

"I'm sure I'll be back tomorrow. Let’s go step by step into this amazing setup: we didn’t have much of a wait and once sat the service was phenomenal. Our sweet waitress Maddy was literally fresh air. Win great recommendations and was so interactive with a fantastic setting. Everyone in the institution seemed to enjoy their jobs. The food... The food was good. We enjoyed the French toast, fresh and soft together with some fresh berries and some of the best bacon I tasted. Mac and cheese were AMAZING!! Someone must have thrown off. All right. The shrimps and geese were so delicious. Here it is. The ambience; Music was on the point, the crowd was great and again, the service was so good. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. Top Notch!"

"sam has best sandwiches and homemade soups around! healthy lunch or dinner if not want to cook! chicken and dumpling soup and lemon chicken and soup are my favorite! Chicken salad sandwich on weizen with salat tomaten or thunfish on weizen with salat and tomaten and pickles are my go to and I order only half a sandwich and it's no problem! love this place! my man loves her cheeseburger and meatball sub! too much food for me, but perfect for him!"

"That was an interesting experience. Our waitress was insanely stressed and overwhelmed and there were only 2 other coulples present while we were there. The dining room cried over the room the most evening because it was so tired and overworked (it was 3 couples in the house). We waited at least 20mins before our order was finalized, and about 10-15mins to get them. I think the owner delivered our plates to the table, he was very charming and the most professional member of his staff. Oh! My friend ordered a Spicy Mule, it was delivered to our table and the bartender forgot to add the Daggon wing. I can try them again in the hope that this was an abandoned night, but I can't say I'm looking forward to it or I'm going to hurry again. The food was decent. Overall, it was a very side of the Road Truck Stop Diner experience for me."

"My daughter to Rosie McCanns for dinner while we shop. She ordered Färger and Maische, who was really delicious. I ordered sliders and pommes that were also amazing. The service was a little slow. The actual disadvantage was the volume. Several games were up and though we sat in the back room without TVs in sight, the speakers played sports and really loud advertising. It was hard to talk. I'd come back, but only after I checked what the games are."
