"My husband and I enjoyed this place while I took my mother out for a birthday dinner. The wings were the best I had in a long time. We didn't order baked with sauce on the side. They were very tasteful and juicy. My husband enjoyed his Chopped Salad with grilled chicken. I was very happy with my New Salad with grilled chicken. Our waitress Stephanie was very attentive and presented my mother n law with a piece of cheesecake with a candle. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with a relaxed decor. We will definitely visit again"

"I have an order for the last minute catering, a very small work meeting, just needed an antipasto and cheese tablet. I ordered at 11:30 a.m. and found out that the event was canceled at 1:30 a.m., I contacted them immediately to cancel the order for the new date or preferably to change it again. they canceled the $200 order, refunded me $20, and told me they would be happy to accompany our later event, but the cancellation fee is still because they had to throw away all food. a few things. the restaurant industry was hit hard because of the pandemic, I know that. people like me cannot afford to do like these all willing nilly. I know. they had to throw away all food?...Why was there only a 2 hours gap between me to put the order and find out that the meeting was canceled delivery was not planned until 3:30. again, maybe. I'm wrong! but if they had said. if we would still charge them all the amount and throw away all the food, I would have just taken the food and put it in the refrigerator. Finally, nowhere...absolutely nowhere is it written the due customers will be when an order is canceled with this place. they gave me $20 of a $200 order, and we're talking about cheese and olive. it looks like this place has really good food, but I will never order from them again, and no one will be in my company. it is not my fault that someone was sick and that was canceled, not their fault, maybe a better communication and customer service."

"Hi! My name is Camille and I visited John’s for the first time today! I am not from the state of New Jersey. I was traveling and starving so as I was going back to DC, I saw this store and decided to give it a try! I wanted to say that this place exceeded my expectations and more! The lady at the front (Caucasian lady) greeted me with a smile and even complimented my scent. She was so kind, warm and pleasant. She took my order very swiftly and got my sandwich done in 10 minutes. My food was hot, fresh and delicious! She even brought my order out to my car! I don’t know who the owner is if this establishment, but I will say that this place will definitely prevail as they treat their customers with respect and care! "First off.. my wife and I moved to hammonton from o.c. this place was one of the first places we chose to eat. I gotta say everytime we ordered my wife gets what she wants but my food for some reason is always messed up. It's like covid has really messed up people's heads in the restaurant business. They have entirely too many people making food and standing around not to mention the girls who take the orders on their phones constantly while waiting to pick up food. I order a Buffalo chicken cheesesteak wrap and get a sub with no cheese, withered lettuce on it, and barely any buffalo sauce. I order same everytime but I get a wrap with again...withered lettuce which I never heard of any Italian restaurant or restaurant in general putting cold lettuce with hot chicken, no cheese and barely any buffalo sauce. My wife gets the same pizza all the time (margarita) it comes to the house cold. You guys seriously need to do better! I'll never order again.."

"Just dropped in for a quick sit down and a bite and drink before heading for the Dyker Christmas lights. Sat down outside because didn’t want too much fuss. Their outdoor setup at time of review is not heated, but it was one of few places in the area to even have an outdoor setup. Waiters were very attentive kind and patient. Only had a hot chocolate and a cheese cake this time but will definitely be back for more!"
