"Great selection. We liked everything we got which included a couple of manchegos, a smoked goat cheese, Brie, and a couple others. Also got a Norwegian gjetost which goes really well with apples. The others were great with the assortment of crackers and toasts we bought. Can't wait to go back for more."

"Lovely classy place with professional service and attention to detail. Great menu variety choices. We had the Coca flatbread shared appy with mushrooms, carmelized onions, kale and great flavors. Had Alhambra Reserva Rioja Beer served in the right glass, ice cold, so special and tasty. For the mains had the Lomo de Cerdo, pork tenderloin a black bean base, and Codicia de Pescado Mariscos, generous seafood selection in lobster brandy reduction including saffron rice and fennel. Plus Yucca fries, yum! So filling we couldn't even ask for a dessert menu. We'll go lighter next time to allow for dessert. So hospitable and friendly. We'll be back!"

"A very cute grocery store with seats available inside. Their Iberico ham was very authentic. Tender and flavorful while not too salty, a definite healthy ham to have. Highly recommended if you have yet tried this type of ham. Other food was less impressive. The price is high, but consider their location this is understandable. A good spot to stop by for some small tapas for sure. Service was good and atmosphere very Spanish. Four star well deserved. They also have a wine store next door which I would like to check up next time. It looks great!"

"Our dinner was very good and our server was very knowledgeable. He explained all the specials and was able to offer wine suggestions. We usually bring our own wine to restaurants but when I called to inquire about the corkage I was told it was $45, which is extremely high. We ended up just ordering wine there but we prefer California wines. A more moderate corkage would be appreciated. Overall we had a lovely dinner. There is a definite Parisian feel inside the restaurant."

"Food was great! They were out of the beef carpaccio we wanted to order. We ordered another option after the rest of our food and it got “lost”, but they made another quickly once it was realized and took it off the bill, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, we were rushed because we had a show to go to and got there late, so didn’t get to spend as much time as would have liked. Will definitely return for a more relaxed time"

"very good options! I would look for the menu to tell them the name of the teller in Spanish, but they can derive it for themselves - let them explain me. this menu or was it a valentine selection? is not too complex that they are indecision whether the steak burger, käsesteak melt, steak on fritten, steak n’ eier. there were 10 options: garnel, calamari, red meat, tuna, trout, otopus and so on. the prices were $75 for 4 small - not all dishes, including desserts. the 4 options: flan, bananenpudding, cheesecake and one that requires heating tamper. I personally liked the garnel most, followed by the calamari. dessert? I recommend the bananenpudding. I also tried the cheesecake that was tasteless even though everything else was quite a bit out! sweet white wine was not available, nothing like moscato, that is! at least, great ambiente, tons good energy all around! my only complicity that was not a big thing was really they were unorganized or something went beyond my knowledge that caused them to be unsafe who ordered what. I was brought a handful of time with the teller of another. it was a bit funny. I was trying to say, "yes! Here!" on mgmt? I had fun tonight! Great experience next to my date!"

"Lovely cocktails and food. Plates are a little on the small side so you may not fill up with a single entree. Wait staff is super nice and helpful. Has outdoor seating on the street, and even better, a nice covered back patio with about 8 tables and heaters above almost all of them for the winter months--making having a dating life possible during Covid surges! Still need to dress warmly though."

"You can tell the food here is fresh. Great spot for tapas, good wine list, and nice atmosphere. That being said, everything tasted like it was just missing one small something that we couldn't put our finger on. Just wanted more punch of flavors."

"I’m not the biggest fan of their steamed tortillas, but they’re happy to grill them for you upon request. I also find their guacamole a bit on the thin side for my liking. However, I can guarantee that once you taste their salsa, you’ll be hooked. You'll forget all about the fire or diablo sauce from next door. Be sure to grab an extra salsa with a hint of habanero—you can thank me later! Enjoy a consistently great meal and don’t hesitate to say hi when you’re inside."

"This is a fabulous place to eat. I ate. Here a few years ago and was looking forward to octopus which is no longer on the menu so Chef created a special dish for me with calamari, potatoes, garlic and garbanzo beans in a wonderful gravy that was amazing. The food, the atmosphere, it all adds up to a truly unique and remarkable dining experience at a very affordable price!"

"Delicious Spanish food. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, including small private seating areas near the main dining space. While I was not impressed on New Year's Eve, I believe it is not a fair representation of their usual quality. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience on Valentine's Day and every other visit."

"It started off a little rocky sat u out in the open along a traffic from the kitchen and they noted that all tabes where reserved. Service was very attentive until a large group came in and started to arrange their own tables and were hovering over us until all their guests arrived. Some of the tapas where awesome and some missed the spot like the pork on crustinni that was not like mooshy bread. I think it would be better for lunch or happy hour."

"Awesome awesome awesome... I love this place, the food is amazing, the dancing gets hot like a night club, and the servers; all of them, are top of the line customer service... I have spent alot of money here, and by far, this is my favorite bar/restaurant in New Haven... Classy interior, great Wines, rare alcohols, and the open kitchen makes it a very welcoming place (excellent choice of a restaurant structure), the patron can see everything and even speak to chefs and bartenders... Cannot say enough good things about Barcelona in New Haven!"

"Service was excellent; we weren 't without full drinks or tapas for very long before a server came to check in on us.I loved the ambiance of the place, the low, amber lighting, the leather bound wine list, the wooden tables.I was not a fan of the high volume traffic, but it 's city living we 're talking here. It was the noise of the place that was most off putting to me. My ideal wine bar is somewhere I can be either solo and pensive, or conversational with a group of intimate friends. It was so loud (on a Thursday evening) that it was hard to carry on a normal conversation, and that detracted from the experience. The food was both superb and mediocre I thought the roasted cauliflower, roasted carrots, and the jamón y Manchego croqeutas were fabulous. The patatas bravas and albondigas were a bit on the salty side. A glass of 2019 Belinda paired beautifully with the jamón y Manchego croqeutas."

"We made our reservations early, 5:45, and asked for the patio. However, there were no tables in the shade and the sun was very hot. Yes it was slowly going down, but it meant 20-30 min in the direct sun. We had to move inside which was okay, but disappointing. A bit too loud inside for us. A few umbrellas are needed outside! Service was warm, attentive, and friendly and the food was delicious!"

"we found this place on happy cow. I would give it five stars if I could. the menu had about 10 nice tapas that were already vegan or could be made vegan. they also had a few salads and a sweet paella. the table bread was also vegan. we ordered five tapas and were full. the waiter was so nice and knowledgeable about all the ingredients. five tapas and two glasses of wine were about $65. Not bad for a nice night out!"
