"Made a reservation via Open Table, got there and no one working front desk. Go to the very busy bar and was blown off by the bartender. He finally comes back to the front desk, I stop him and ask him about our dinner reservations. He tells me the restaurant area is not open! I repeat to him we made reservations, he is very rude and asks who I made them with, I tell him Open Table and he just shrugs his shoulders and says well I don't know. Seriously!?! So rude, unprofessional and ridiculous!"

"We discovered this charming restaurant with local ingredients online for our day trip to Kerrville. We tried the goat cheese fondue and charred Brussels sprouts, both of which were delicious. The fondue was creamy with a mild goat cheese taste, while the Brussels sprouts were unexpectedly tasty with a hint of maple syrup. "While the restaurant was visually appealing, the food was overpriced for what we received. For example, we started with the green beans which were overly charred. Also got the cowboy salad with steak. Steak was a rectangle on a plate, well done, with a salad. Never seen it presented this way and the steak was too tough to cut. Maybe an off night but will be a while before we try it again."

"We arrived at 445pm for our 5pm reservation; we were seated at a booth, first people in that section. No waiter came. After 5pm, had the hostess summon our waiter; he came ca 5 minutes later. He wasn’t overly attentive for the rest of the night. Later noted a very attentive waitress was managing other booths in our section. Dinner was well-prepared and flavorful but not to die for, with the exception of the exceptional bread pudding for dessert. Parking was easy, in the lot behind the building."

"The ride is nice to come to Holly Hill, I love the atmosphere and the beautiful tables. We were greeted and set immediately. We had reservations for 8:00, but a previous seat requested if one is available. They called us back and we got past seats. They gave us time to look at the menu and bring our drinks. We had a fabulous meal that we both decided for the fish Entrée. It was a wonderful choice, delicious! Our server was Jackie and she was helpful and extremely friendly. It was my fiancée's first visit and he was enchanted. He can't wait to come back. Thank you for a nice evening!!!"
