"My daughter and I dine here regularly and we sit inside and hear the interactions with customers. I don’t understand the bad reviews. These guys are so neighborhood/ family oriented. Their food is great. They are not using the nasty waxy cheese that most places use. Not to mention their wraps and other food is always yummy and made the right way. I don’t even mind if it takes them a while when they are busy because my food is always delicious and they are friendly and talk to us while we wait. When we go in, we are greeted warmly and served like family and when we order delivery, the drivers are always super nice and the food is always still hot."

"Excellent food very fresh! I have been very disappointed with all our other local dinners lately and nearly forgot about acropolis (moved away for a few years) they are by far the best diner in town great food great people I go nearly every morning. I would have given 5 stars for atmosphere but one of their longest working servers tends to walk around causing problems with the other servers and complaining about the owners right in front of customers and it makes me uncomfortable. Everyone else is happy and great at their jobs and love the owners. "I want to start saying how amazing our server was, but I choose to let his name out of the review to not bring him into trouble. this oversight is nothing against his service because he went beyond and beyond to help us. the cheesecake factory manager not so much. my friend ordered the filet mignon meal cooked medium. when the plate came to our table, it was cooked in a very rare medium and had a large piece of fat on the edge. we are not the kind to complain, so that he continued to eat what he could eat from the piece. about a third of the way through the steak he realized that the rest was absolutely not cooked. at this place noticed our server that he had stopped eating, and realized how the rest of the meal was undercooked. he quickly brought the meal back into the kitchen, and the only offer she made was to cook the rest of the meat left. for an established restaurant like the cheesecake factory I would have expected a far better solution for the problem. for a $38 filet mignon, we will spend the extra $12 and head to the capital grill next time."

"Wonderful restaurant with a very large selection. I was very surprised to see how many different chicken and calf dishes they offer and also many different pasta sauces. Everything we ordered was very fresh. The parts were also quite large. In any case, for some more pasta fagioli soup (very nice thick broth) and also the marinara sauce tasted very fresh homemade."

"Took forever to be sat even after I told the hostess I had joined the waitlist. Once sat, waited 10 minutes for a server to come to our table. She asks immediately. What do you want. No greetings. Once the orders were made, things went nicely. Food was delivered in a timely manner. Chicken fajitas had no flavor. But, my elotes were amazing!!"

"The staff at the restaurant were exceptionally polite and attentive, making them a valuable asset. The food was delicious. The only issue I encountered was with the hotel's parking garage. The automatic exit at Calvert Street tried to charge me $90 for less than two hours of parking. When I tried to exit on Woodley Road, I had gone over two hours and was charged $37. This was a hotel issue, not the restaurant's fault, but it affected my overall experience at the restaurant."

"Today was my birthday and I also celebrated my last day of chemo. I always go to this restaurant to feel special on my birthday. Today, I was with my sister-in-law and my niece, and we were served by a super sweet waitress named Michaela. I told her the two reasons we were there, and at the end of the meal, the kitchen staff came out with a lovely piece of cheesecake. On the plate, it was written: "they are a fighter!" Everyone was so kind, and I was so moved and impressed. When we wanted to pay, Michaela said, "don't worry, it's on us!" I couldn't help but tear up and hug her. I believe there are angels among us or ordinary people can become angels for a few minutes, doing special things. Today, I witnessed many angels in the staff of this amazing restaurant because they not only cook from their hearts but also go above and beyond to make special days unforgettable. I will never forget this day and my angel, Michaela!"

"I typically enjoy the food at this restaurant, but my experience with the gluten-free chicken parm was disappointing. The chicken was extremely thin and overcooked, almost splintering. The sauce on the pasta was watery and running off. It was a shame that we drove all the way from Eatontown for the food. I'm not sure if we'll make that trip again. This used to be my go-to spot for gluten-free Italian food, but after giving it another chance on October 2nd, I was thoroughly disappointed. The pasta was undercooked, the sauce was unappetizing, and the meatballs were rubbery and lacked flavor. The gluten-free garlic bread was simply a toasted hot dog roll for $10. It was a horrible experience and I will not be returning. I recommend anyone in need of gluten-free options to look for another restaurant."
