"The two folks that ordered the Branzino were quite happy with their choice. My one piece of feedback is not to drown the steak frites with a dousing of the peppercorn sauce. Instead drizzle some sauce on the steak and serve the remainder in a small container and your customer can decide how much they want to add based on their taste. The alcoholic drinks were expensive!"

"How is this place still in business? We went here for a Thursday date and were thoroughly disappointed. We ordered two glasses of wine and two pastas. The wine took 40 minutes to come out. I understand they are busy but to seat us at the cold bar and basically forget we were there was harsh. We had to wave down someone to take our order. "Everything was fine. The waitress wasn't as attentive as we would have liked but she seemed to have a lot on her plate. The wine list is nice, plenty of choices. Not crazy about the family style salad but it worked out ok in the end. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner. My husband's sweet potato fries were fabulous! My clam chowder was not good, very watery; not sure if they were trying to stretch their batch or if they purposely make a broth based chowder."

"We went for Sunday brunch sitting at the bar until the table was ready to serve mimosa in wine glass. After we sat ordered waffles with berries waffle was so muddy tasty okay."

"The restaurant is beautiful and the views amazing. We had the calamari , shrimp orzo lunch special and bread. The calamari were just ok, the 2 shrimp served with the orzo large but overcooked and rubbery. There is a charge for the bread. It was ok and came with 3 different spreads. The spreads were the most tasty item. The restaurant was busy and after initial contact with our server we had to waive down. We are locals and hoped that this restaurant would be a regular spot for us. We will wait awhile before we return."

"Thanks to Mac's on Main for supporting the Lena Pope Restaurant Week. Never ceases to amaze us what they offer for $39. This is a regular Restaurant of ours especially because they have best prime rib in the area, 12 oz entrée part of Restaurant Week menu options. Broke with my habit and tried Filet Oscar. It did not disappoint. Started with summer salad and got my Key Lime pie to go because my husband I shared his Apple Gallette with Henry's Cinammon ice cream. Our server Juan made the evening special. Before we finalized a bottle of wine to have, he got my husband taste to be sure the new wine would work. It did. Thanks!"
