"I got the taco dinner (2 vegetarian 1 fish tacos) so yummy! I am very picky with veggie tacos since that?s the main taco I eat but these were delicious. My boyfriend got the veg, fish, and shrimp tacos and really enjoyed them as well. They made theguac fresh. Great service, will definitely be back!"

"The service was great and the ambience made it really feel like you were in Mexico. The vibes have a nightclub type of environment, but in a good way! I tried the non-alcoholic Pina Colada and it was very delicious. It had a sweet tone with a hint of cream and light sourdough. I recommend it for anyone who is underaged, but try to be 21! In addition, the Churros were fantastic! This was my first time to eat authentic churros and I must say they were crispy on the outside, but extremely soft and damp on the inside. You have some melted caramel bits inside that give him an extra kick sweet. In addition, it comes with one side of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Last comment. the most important courses, all I can say is that you do not go wrong with one of the commands! The prices range from $15 $35 for most articles, with some. are $65 or more because they have 2 and some t bone steaks and such. Overall, I would recommend this place to a friend if they would like to try Mexican cuisine!"

"We had outstanding Mexican food in Philly during a trip for a business convention. The food was all exceptional. Great queso with Chorizo that was not too spicy for me. The salsa on the green enchiladas was perfectly balanced with a great flavor and just the right amount of lime. And the chicken tinga quesadilla reminded us of trips to Mexico. Overall, highly recommended."

"A nice local Mexican restaurant helping to spice up the cuisine in the Northwoods! Cancuns has stayed solid since I was a kid. The food is nothing fancy, but tasty and filling. The flavors and dishes are more on the Tex-Mex side of things than authentic Mexican, but I'm not sure the average customer in the Chippewa Valley would want that either. I went with the enchiladas mexicanas on my most recent visit, wanting to get some variety of meats and cheese. They hit the spot and got me ready for the flan, the real star of the show. Cancuns goes for dressing things up with whipped cream and a cherry on top, but the flan itself was delicious. Honestly caught me off guard how good it was and definitely a dessert I'd order again. Overall, Cancuns has stayed true to themselves and offers something different for the area! Glad they're here!"

"At one point, I took off my favorite bracelets—twenty-three bead bracelets collected from around the world—because they were bothering me in the heat. I placed them on the seat next to me. Shortly after, my friend became ill and had to be taken away by ambulance to Providence Medical Center. In the chaos that followed, I completely forgot about my bracelets but assumed they would be safe when I returned after visiting the hospital. Honestly, who would steal someone’s jewelry when their friend is being taken away in an ambulance? When I contacted the manager about my missing bracelets, I was met with complete indifference. He took no responsibility for their disappearance, despite the fact that no other guests had been seated in our booth after we left, and it was late at night. I was sitting in the far corner of the restaurant, and it was highly unlikely that any customer could have seen those black bracelets on a black leatherette seat. It’s clear they were taken by an employee. The manager was rude and lacked any empathy, never even inquiring about my friend's condition in the hospital. It was an awful experience, and I have no intention of ever returning. I will also use social media to warn others to avoid this place."

"Usually I try to go to smaller restaurants because the service is much better when they’re smaller and the food is more authentic. We walked in and we’re told to hold on, the guy at the front sat the two people in front of us and then disappeared, we were literally waiting at the entrance for 10-15 minutes just to be sat down, I can’t even begin to imagine how it would’ve been if we actually had ordered food. This exactly why I stay away from large restaurants like this, lesson learned. If you want great and quick service please look elsewhere!"

"Salsa tasted awful, the second time they filled it. It tasted and didn't look like the salsa we got when we set ourselves. It was canned cheese sauce used for the duck we ordered, which I don't think is normal. My child never got the fruit that should come with her child's meal, even after I had asked. We're nice, but the food and the margaritas weren't. I had received good reviews from a friend about the Margaritas and Carne Asada, so maybe this was just a free day for this place, but either I won't try it again..."

But I even lost the desire to eat. YOU pay for something and they give you something else. I was already at my house, I didn't want to go out again and it's not close to me. "Cancun has been my go to for years now. Ever since I went the first time my freshman year of high school I fell in love with the food, the service, and the employees. Every time I come to the restaurant I am greeted as if I am family and it makes the experience 10x better. The food is unbelievable as well. I’ve tried all of the other Mexican grills in Eau Claire because I’m a die hard Mexican food fan, and nothing has came close to Cancun. One thing that stands out over all of the other restaurants is the cheese dip. You will NOT be disappointed trust me. If your looking for a place to bring any out of town relatives, or bring anyone for their birthday. Trust me! Bring them to Cancun. I absolutely love this place!!!"
