"Omigosh. We were there for about 35 minutes before anyone took our order, even though the restaurant was pretty empty. After we had been there for an hour, I'm not exaggerating, a waiter came back to ask us to reconfirm our orders, which he had written on a really tiny slip of paper and had entirely wrong, including food in one of the orders to which he had been expressly told the diner was highly allergic. We didn't get our food remember we're talking about deli food, so not that complicated for more than an hour and a half. It was not practical for us to go elsewhere, because my father is mobility impaired as a result of a stroke. Experience was so awful it was like it was a practical joke, like we were on candid camera."
