"Went to the Beyond King Tut Experience in Boston 's South End. When we finished it was lunch time and we planned to walk the 2 miles to the Faneuil Hall Marketplace for lunch. But it was over 90 degrees and my husband had a serious case of the hangry 's . Not being familiar with this area I looked up cheap eats and found The Bostonian Market And Cafe was only a 3 min walk from the venue. You 'd miss it for sure walking by, it 's on the corner of Harrison and Fay and looks like it might be a small convenience store. Went in, it 's very small, not fancy, a few tables to sit at. Serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with an amazingly wide range of sandwiches, salads, burgers, dinner specials. The prices were amazing for Boston. We had a fabulous, fresh Greek salad with chicken, the French Quarter sandwich, fries and 2 drinks. Everything was fantastic, large portions and the total cost was $25.50 thought they made a mistake and that was for one meal. But no, the total bill. The 2 gentlemen who did everything could not have been more welcoming or accommodating and fast. And it was clearly the favorite of the neighborhood. Next time we are in Boston we will plan to eat here! We did do the 5 mile round trip walk to Faneuil Hall Marketplace for ice cream and back through the Boston Public Gardens so don 't miss these. But if you are in South Boston or the the South End, this is the place to get a fantastic meal and not break the pocketbook."

"The hotel overall was not horrible, but not as described. The Boxer has a lot of potential to be a great hotel but feels like it’s ran like a budget hotel. The lobby is very small and the rooms are smaller than expected. The staff was nice but never once initiated a greeting. Both front desk attendants were nice to answer questions but you would have to wait to get their attention. The back room by the lobby desk was visible to the public and stacked with trash. Electrical panels behind the bar were exposed and there was no clear indication on where to sit for a meal, or greeting for instructions. I chose not to eat here for this reason. I was charged for a morning coffee by a hostess/bartender one morning , but not charged for one the following day with them stating “oh, we don’t charge for black coffee”. The trash bins in the lobby were full every time I went to them. First impressions was that we made a mistake, but I did like the room and the bed was really comfortable. The location is questionable as it appears that there are many abandoned buildings in the area, and not many establishments within a couple of blocks. Very convenient to TD Garden, but recent construction made the walk to Quincy Market about .50 mile longer. I would give this place another try in the far future in hopes that the immediate area becomes more established and The Boxer cleans itself up a bit. The lobby and bar area need the most help and the location is a little rough. Not many issues with the room."
