"We placed our food order, which arrived promptly and was accurate. While we were eating, the table next to us ordered a Dos Equis lager on draft, and their server promptly brought it to them. The food was good, but after finishing, we waited 25 minutes before I had to track down another waitress to get our bill and to-go boxes.
When our original waitress dropped off the bill, she carelessly stacked the dirty plates right on top of the food we wanted to take home. The bill was hard to read due to faded ink, but the dollar amounts written on the side were a bit clearer. A total of $64 seemed off, but at that point, I just wanted to leave. Once home, I calculated what we actually ordered, and the total didn’t add up — I was charged for the beer I never received.
Having worked in various roles in the restaurant industry for many years, I believe that customer service is just as crucial as the quality of food. The service we experienced here was awful and significantly diminished our dining experience. It was very disappointing."
