"We’ve been to Alchemy Elements a few times, and just like other restaurants with some age, they start to lose a little something. In the case of Alchemy Elements, I think they just stopped paying attention to the details. I’ve had the crab cakes here before, and they are usually good. This time, they were just dry lumps on the plate. No presentation, no side of any type of garnish, just a smear of some bland sauce. The rack of lamb was good, just not great. The flavor just didn’t jump at you like it should; it just laid there. The service was good, although it took a while to get our drinks and the bar was out of a couple of the better draft selections. Don’t get me wrong, Alchemy Elements is still a good restaurant just not as good as it used to be."
