"This is a great place to stay at if you are looking for a clean room with a comfortable bed. The room was exceptionally clean, and comfortable, linen and towels were abundant. Our 2 queen room with sofa bed accommodated our family of 4 (mom, dad and kids 11 and 15) nicely. The Placery in the lobby is convenient for snacks and drinks. What’s not convenient is that if there is a popular event at the Showplace, the traffic getting into the main entrance is awful because they collect parking fees. You have to show your room key to avoid paying for parking. The parking can be tricky too, as conference attendees will park in spots by the front of the hotel entrance, which is around the side of the building. Ask the staff at check-in if there is an alternative entrance you can use if traffic is heavy so you are prepared ahead of time. None of this was an issue except on the one day there was a show, otherwise it was easy access and parking. There is a restaurant, Fireside Grill, on-site, but it was only open on Thursdays during our stay. That was disappointing. The included breakfast is okay, but the later you go, the more dry the options become (sausage, scrambled eggs, French toast sticks, potatoes), so we recommend going early or going out for breakfast. Overall, if you just want a decent room, and you prepare for possible traffic getting onto the property, it is a comfortable and clean place to stay. There are lots of other options in nearby Livonia though, if you would prefer to avoid the less convenient things we encountered."
