"eating in igloo was a really funny and unique experience. the food and drinks were excellent. the waiting time for our drinks and eating was however unacceptable looung! not sure what happened there, but good that after our 90-minute time slot there was no other party because the drinks were 30 minutes alone! our dinner came at 7:10, we sat at 18 o'clock! the waitress was pleasant, but I didn't seem to have a kind of hurry to serve us in time."

"It was my 77th Birthday and so I suggested this wonderful steakhouse. I cannot express the joy I felt from time I walked in to the time I walked out. I have enjoyed Keith Young, many times but it was my husband’s first time. The food was beyond awesome, while the staff was attentive to us all evening. Shout out to Sarah, our server, and to “AA6” our bar server. We WILL be back. Thank you for making my night so special. "Took wife here to relax enjoy a nice steak, food was good. Felt rushed the whole time everybody wanted to push us to get in and out. Didn't even get to enjoy appetizers. When I'm spending $350 for a meal I want to take my time and enjoy it. I was pushed by waiter to leave a 50 dollar tip was not impressed I tip well if I'm waited on well not pushed. So loud couldn't here what waiter was saying half time until it came to his 50 dollar tip. Probably won't be back. Good steak just wasn't treated great, or like a human, and of course we probably weren't dressed as nice as everybody else but you know high rollers don't always flaunt it."

"The food isn't bad and portions are large.. It would be nice if they could get the order right. Who ever is answering the phone does not listen and does not know the menu. When you ask for them to repeat the order the woman who is answering has an attitude. The biggest problem is her English is not very good and has a difficult understanding orders, which causes the customer not getting what they have ordered. This has happened to us several times, I may rethink and order elsewhere next time"

"The food and the staff were wonderful. No reservation, no problem. a large small restaurant, warm and cozy. We shared an appetizer and a salad with salmon (both were excellent) and large cudos to our waiter, they had no problems with it. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. If you are looking for a good meal in South Portland You go there, you won't be disappointed."

"Let me start by saying if you want food that taste pretty good with the worst service ever this is the place for you. This is not my 1st visit here but tonight it was lousy service from the moment we sat down. We were a party of 3 and the table only had 2 setups. I finally had to ask for a third. We ordered soup which came out quickly and was hot, after that is was downhill really fast. We only order 3 dishes; Green Beans with pork that came out cold, was sent back and not much hotter, Beef Chow Fun which was hot and extremely delicious. It?s hard to find good Chow Fun, and a sushi roll which stayed up at the sushi bar for at least 5 minutes until we pointed out that it was there. I had to get up after that and go to the sushi bar to get a bowl for the soy sauce. I had to ask for serving spoons so we can serve our food and and had to ask for plates too. This establishment seemed woefully understaffed for a Saturday night and 2 of the staff working the dinning acted as if the were hired 5 minutes before we walked in. When the check came I attempted to pay with a credit card but after 5 minutes of waiting I put together enough cash so I could get out of there. Decent food, horrible service."

"Easily top 5 best meals ever. Went last Friday for birthday weekend. I had ribeye with bone, hashbrowns, spinach salad. Spouse had pork schnitzel with avocado salad, squash and grasshopper drink. Apps were fried asparagus. Wow! Everything excellent. Then our waiter Shane was amazing. Friendly, attentive and helped us order when asked questions since our first time here. Then found out at the end that this was his second week there. Just Wow! Thank you for the great food and service. We will be back."

"my experience here was a little extravagant. I have placed a To-Go order over the website and consciously decided to pick up a ship, as I was very sick in the last days and did not want to push me more than necessary after pushing through a full day at work. I came to call the phone number, and even though I let the girl know that I was here to pick up a bulk order and the confirmation email says: "You will be happy to deliver their order to their vehicle", their answer was (not rudely speaking) "if they want to come in, we will give it to them". I said okay! and did, but that was quite disappointing, especially considering that there are two girls close to the hostage and probably 5 cars on the parking lot. my order, beside the salat on the burger with dark brown edges that I trimmed, was still quite good, was right and was still warm. I'm not sure why they were not willing to pick up my type that I chose, or if they no longer offer, but the opportunity to disagree with the cute little email instructions my experience"

"Today was my first time eating at Thacher Rye and I’m ecstatic to say it was not be my last. I stumbled upon the restaurant after a quick Google search that screamed “EAT HERE” There are many places suggested for best brunch in Frederick and I’ve tried many of them; Jojo’s, Nola, Up on Market St and Hootch and Banter (to name a few and nothing, I mean nothing, compares to the service and quality of food as Thacher Rye. Immediately upon entering I was concerned that I was under dressed since I had just came up to get a beard trim and was dressed in athletic wear. The extremely handsome and very friendly Jordan, who greeted me with the kindest smile ever, assured me that I was ok. He gave me a quick tour of the dining room (which is so beautiful, like the entire building and we decided to sit at the bar with the incredibly charismatic and stunning Hannah! Hannah was multitasking like crazy all while making incredible eye contact and killing the customer service game. Chick Fil A should send their employees to Hannah for training! I had kind of made my mind up with what I was going to eat and after hearing Hannah’s suggestions, I stuck with what I wanted. Which was a mistake. Always listen to the employees!!! Now don’t get me wrong, my food was incredible, but now I can’t stop dreaming of Shakshuka. I did decide to add the Grits which are the best I’ve had anywhere outside of Atlanta. What a treat to discover this restaurant today. Now I just need a nap Thanks to everyone who made my first time eating here so incredible!!"

"Placed an order for one salad. Came 30 mins after placing and it still wasn't ready. Waited another 10 minutes after arriving. They had one girl working carryout and she was trying but overwhelmed. She yelled at the kitchen 4 times for my salad. I felt bad for her and tipped well. They just need more help like ever where else."

"This restaurant is located at the old Bankers' Club facilities in the financial sector of San Juan. It has the best city view of any restaurant in town. Ruth's Chris menu is the same just about everywhere, so you know what to expect. It is the view and the crowd which is still the old Bankers Club crowd what essentially makes this such a great place to have lunch or dinner. I am not sure whether the day view or the night view is the best. You will have to decide that by yourself. So, a good idea is to get there by 6:00 pm; go to the bar for drinks and watch the sunset and then stay for dinner. Believe me, it really doesn't get much better than that."

"great ny strip steak and service we always wanted to taste one of these steak houses, and this was close to our hotel. we liked that they could share a steak, so we tried the NY strip with a sweet potato casrole. it was excellent and cooked to order. we treated and shared the peanut butter cake that was very good. we got super service from their employees, and although the meal was expensive, it was good value."

"This review would have been a 5/5 except for one thing. First of all the things that were amazing; the decor, the ambience, the music, the service from our waiter Loo was impeccable! And the food its self was Fantastic! Sadly though, when I went...to the ladies room, it was a shocking disappointment. There were 4 stalls/toilets in there, 2 toilets were jammed full of toilet paper and unusable, and the other 2 stalls there was no toilet paper avaiable at all. We went for an early dinner at 6 o'clock Sunday because my husband had just flown back from the UK. Clearly, the washrooms had not been cleaned since Saturday. That is a huge oversight and disappointment for a restaurant that claims to be high end."
