"The food was okay, service was terrible and I waited for my food for thirty minutes past the time they told me to come pick it up. I went home, ate my food and a few hours later proceeded to vomit and become sick for multiple days. I went to the ER andthey told me it was food poising where it was pinned down to my meal at Hunan King. This is the worst restaurant in Blacksburgand going here will most defiantly expose you to potential food poising. I will never be coming back here and have alreadywarned every individual of every organization that I am involved with that Hunan King will give them terrible food poising.Please avoid this restaurant at all costs."

"I ordered Ubereats for the first time. I ordered the sawed pig bell with green paprika when I ordered it because I wanted pig bell when I tasted it, everything I WANTED WERE THE GREEN PEPPERS. This court is perfect. The peppercorns add an amazing sweet heat to every bite, slices of fresh garlic, tasty cut paprika and perfectly cooked pork bell. And huge portion! This cook knows EXACTLY what he/she does. Can't wait to try other dishes here!"

"2019-02-27 Update: The taste of their dishes has been greatly improved. 2018-12-09 Update: They recently upgraded their dishes and added new items. Tried their twice-cooked pork and it was authentic. Average cost per person is $10-15. A traditional American-style Chinese restaurant serving fresh foods with decent price. A good place for students at VT to have a quick bite. Service is not very attentive but acceptable. Lunch buffet is cost-effective."
