"I order sumo all the time and everything is always great! But today a young girl took my order over the phone and many things were wrong, I come back to Philly and call instead of saying I apologize back and I will repair it, she argued with me for 15 minutes. I decided to go back, only for the five spicy Mayos I ordered with my $150 order, and she argued with me again and also made me pay a dollar for the spicy Mayo, which is not even full of the way after I drove all the way back and paid the toll twice. Very rude and argumentative. Your customer service suck and we all have bad days, it must be better!!!!"

"Went to happy hour again a past weekend, and it wasn't as great as my August 1 visit. The sushi was still palatable, but the portions were smaller and there were changes to how the sushi was prepared i.e. the eel previously had sweet eel sauce dressed over it and in this visit, it was completely dry . These changes and smaller portions just did not lend to the same experience we had before with them, thus a tad bit disappointed. "Sushi Gem in Belmont, NC there's a few places to eat out but this one I will definitely come back to. We started off by ordering their spicy garlic wings a must try from the menu you can't miss this the flavor and taste was mouth watering and crab wonton for appetizers. My toddler had the chicken lo mein which was good according to her and she's a very picky eater. For dinner we ordered the Golden gate roll, Jalapeño Bomber roll (my favorite), Ocarina roll and Spiral Ecstasy roll. Our server Joseph was very attentive, knowledgeable and provided outstanding service to us. To the extension that he asked what kind of soy sauce we wanted regular or low sodium. This place is very spacious, family friendly and clean. I gave them a five star based on the overall service, the food quality and cleanliness."

"I was in the area and in the mood for sushi, so I decided to try out this place that I found on Google. They had a lunch special, with 2 rolls for $11 or 3 rolls for $13.73. The restaurant was very dark with only one light on. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and an eel avocado roll. The spicy tuna roll was the worst I've ever had, but the eel avocado roll was pretty good. Still feeling a little hungry after the 2 rolls, I decided to order another eel avocado roll. When I got the check, I realized I was charged separately for the second eel avocado roll, at $7, because I couldn't get the 3 roll lunch special price. The staff didn't inform me of this beforehand. Additionally, I was charged extra for spicy mayo. The restaurant was empty and I was the only customer, which may explain some things. Despite the overall cost being the same with the tip, the experience was unpleasant. I didn't bother taking photos of the food as it wasn't worth it."

"Overall, this place is great and has become my restaurant of choice if you want to go! Your menu that has just been updated is super easy to navigate, including good pictures for all sushi reels. The food is excellent! Below are the Jalepeno Poppers, fantastic roll, Mafia roll. The service is flight-friendly, but also often on the slower side. This could be due to the fact that it is a popular place and obviously fight places to find workers, so I just overlook the slow part. If you plan a trip that leads you near Ellijay or Jasper, I would recommend stopping here!"

"I was now two or three times and they have a huge selection of things to order. I was able to try some new things, and my favorite of them is the Caterpillar Roll. I think the prices are fairly fair and the quality of the food definitely lives up. I like the whole atmosphere and the waiting staff are pleasant, but not especially friendly or attentive - the waiting staff is baseline nice for a restaurant and you will be approx. Wait 10 minutes until someone comes back to the card after check. Overall, if you have some time to kill and search for good sushi, this is one that I recommend."

"We had a wonderful dinner with Mr. Sushi! The waiter was very polite and attentive. Every piece of the restaurant was clean and tidy. We chose a stand that was comfortable and quiet. The food service was provided very quickly with drinks (and water) almost immediately. The appetizer was quick to follow with main dish following orders. Nobody's hungry! The Tuna sashimi app was fresh and perfectly spicy. My spicy tuna reel was split because it was so good. The salad that accompanied my Hibachi chicken was super fresh and crisp. The chicken Hibachi was perfectly cooked, Veggies a little crispy and chicken was tender and juicy! We'll come back every time we're in the area!"
