"First time at The Lunch Box and it was awesome! Had the Veggie sandwich on rosemary sourdough bread and a cup of chicken noodle soup! I wasn’t sure I would like the sandwich but it was so delicious...and it wasn’t small. The combination of veggies on it was really good and I’ll be back for that one again and yes, I really like that slice of pickled carrot on it!! It just added something to the whole sandwich. The cup of chicken soup was very tasty as well and we had great service!! I did buy a round loaf of the rosemary sourdough bread and couple of coconut pecan cookies to take home!! Yum!!"

"Nuevo Mexico has some of the most outstanding food that will ever grace your lips! Every food is freshly prepared and made with so much love and fresh ingredients. This gem of a restaurant is in my own neighborhood and has been here almost 30 years and I never knew about it. The decor from when you walk in is very rustic and makes you feel transported to Mexico in all the best ways then you get greeted by very friendly staff and then they bring you chips and salsa to start. The salsa is so amazingly good you already know everything afterwards is only going to get better. They have many flavors of margaritas to choose from and many different tequilas to use as well to enhance your margarita drinking experience. Their house margarita is the jalepeno margarita and if you like things a little spicy you will love it, if not all the rest of the margaritas are delish too. Now I had the fish tacos which I must say is the best tacos I ever ate before. I also had the shrimp tacos as well delicious but didn't have enough shrimp to be as fulfilling. Then I had the Camarones a la Mojo de Ajo and it comes with the most succulent jumbo shrimp in a smooth and flavor filled garlic sauce and yellow rice. It was beyond amazing and I wish I could eat this everyday! Affordable, yummy and they have happy hour all week long and also live music on Friday nights! "On Friday April 29th we were five ladies that spend over 180 dollars on food and margaritas. Once the mariachis started playing we were done eating and we sat there to finish our drinks. The bartender came and offered some churros for free.. once he brought them the owner came to the table and in a very rude way, hitting the table... in Spanish he asked us to leave because other costumers we're waiting.. when I looked around there were 5 empty tables and no one waiting to be seated... We were very upset because we had enough to drink and we didn't want to order more alcohol.. we paid for what was supposed to be free and walked out... I suggest that no one should go to that place because you are going to be kicked out by the owner if you take too long to eat or you don't want to order anymore drinks. Of course we are never going back and we will tell everybody not to go there."

"The Villarreal is delicious! Delicious!! The fried rice is very delicious on its own. However, as part of the combo, definitely recommend the plate. The eel sauce and the special soy sauce is an excellent compliment to the rolls. The fresh side salad is a great balance to the whole meal. For $10, you can share the meal. Plenty of food. At the time of this review, I have already bought 6 plates, and the meal was consistent in flavor. Best part is they deliver! Keep in mind it is tucked away behind the Torta restaurant. Enjoy!"

"Ever since this restaurant opened on North Lamar, they have consistently delivered great food. "*edit* This place is now permanently closed and they loved lcoarions to Gahanna. I understand why they did but this was such a good hidden gem in the northeast Columbus area and I'm sad it's out in the burbs now. *end edit* This place is actually pretty decent. The inside if the building is beautifully decorated and the people we dealt with were nice. We ordered an appetizer along with 2 entrees and there was no chance of us actually finishing it. The portions are massive. The waitress was on point keeping our drinks refilled and the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Our entire visit there was about an hour. The food was good. It didn't taste too salty like you'd like get from a fast food chain. The portions were big and everything was fairly simple. We got easily 4 meals worth of food for $30 and they give you complimentary chips and salsa along with a bean dip. There are also 3 hot sauces at every table in case you need a little more zing. It's not the most gourmet food you'll ever eat, but it's definitely worth what you'll pay for it. Everything seemed clean and the atmosphere was fun but not ridiculous. I'll definitely be coming back here. I would recommend it for just about anyone, but I would also tell them to keep their expectations in check. It's not On The Border or some super fancy Mexican place. It's a bar and grill with reasonably priced food that doesn't taste bad. Plan accordingly."

"We went there last night for dinner and it was very good. Service was fast and staff were friendly and attentive to our orders. Food was delicious and came quickly. Huge menu selection to choose from. Chips and salsa were tasty as well. Will return again!"

"Very disappointed. The food was okay our waitress was amazing. My mother and I needed to use the restroom and she didn't want them to think that we disappeared on the check. She walked over to let them know. When we came back to the restroom our table was completely cleaned off. My mom and I look at each other like what just happened! We go sit there waiting for the bill. The waitress brings it to us cuz it's sitting on another table. As we're trying to fill out the receipt to pay the employee walks over with a tablecloth and makes us move from the table. We then had to stand by the register to pay like we were at fast food. Not a great experience for our first time being out of new restaurant."

"My favorite restaurant chain for Mexican food but I will never go to this location again! The service was great but the food was horrible. I got the shrimp quesadilla and it barely had any cheese and was so wet the tortilla was just falling apart. Same thing with the nachos...cheese was barely melted and the tortilla chips were so wet you had to eat with a fork. My kids got a large burrito, a torta, and tacos. The only thing that was finished were the tacos and I have teenagers who usually ask for seconds. I do not recommend this place at all. It's NOTHING like the riverside location. I HIGHLY recommend the riverside location. Riverside has never disappointed and they also have a great bar with the best margaritas!"
