"This is a lovely french patisserie and coffee shop. I haven 't tried most of the coffee; I just get cappuccinos, and they are delicious. I 've tried a few of the pastries, and everything has been great. The smell of the bread and pastries when you walk in is amazing. Also, I really don 't understand J.B. 's review the shopkeeper is very nice. She is often there alone so sometimes you might wait a few minutes, but it 's nicer than waiting in Starbucks. Speaking of SBUX, they are a mass market chain. Coralie is the real deal the pastries are brought in fresh daily, not frozen, shipped, and microwaved. The baguettes/sandwiches are buttered with real European butter. This is truly worth an extra couple of minutes."

"We ordered 2 large drinks, but they were mistakenly made in different sizes. Despite the mix-up, we decided to just take them. One drink was in a very large cup and the other in a tiny cup. We asked the employee at the window why this happened, and he explained he was busy with multiple tasks at once and did not realize the mistake. The drink we received was a milk frappuccino without any coffee."

"placing a mobile order that says it will be ready at 9:08 and not receiving it until almost 9:30 is not acceptable. i know i can’t blame them for making me late to work, but i budgeted 30 minutes of time which i figured would be plenty to pick up my drink. it was not, because the drive through line moved one car about every 5-6 minutes. plus, when i finally got my drink and food, it had clearly been sitting out for 20+ minutes because my food was fully cold, like it had never been warmed, and my drink was melted. definitely not worth $10 and a 30 minute wait."

However, I was disappointed to discover that all the pumpkin spice flavor and cream cheese filling were only in the muffin's top part. When she warmed it for me, the top half easily came out of the paper bag, leaving the bottom half stuck inside. The cream cheese was merely a small dollop on top, which wasn’t what I expected. The taste was decent overall, but I doubt I would order it again. **Staff:** The young baristas were incredibly pleasant and friendly, showing a genuine customer-oriented attitude. They had the right energy to cater to early risers like myself, who were still waking up and needed their caffeine fix. **Cleanliness:** The entire café was neat and tidy, with no complaints in that regard. **Restrooms:** Upon entering, I immediately checked out the restroom, which was spotless. It had paper towels, hot running water, toilet paper, and hand soap—definitely a plus for a morning coffee spot. **Ambiance:** The café has a lovely design, though it lacks privacy due to its spacious layout. It features standard tables and chairs, alongside a long communal table with high stools, giving customers options for where to enjoy their breakfast. There’s also a sizable wall refrigerator stocked with cold drinks and plenty of water bottles, which is another great feature for a morning café. I particularly liked that they were setting up an order pickup station, allowing customers to quickly grab their drinks while providing a convenient way to leave tips. Overall, the atmosphere was well-designed for a relaxing vibe, and I enjoyed my coffee and muffin at the high table. **Location:** The location is excellent, with restaurants and shops nearby, but it is somewhat tucked away from the main roads—ideal only if you’re in the neighborhood. **Conclusion:** I will definitely return to this café the next time I'm in the area!"

"As soon as I entered I got on my phone to open my Starbucks app and an employee approached me very rudely to tell me they were closing in 10 mins I said okay I went about to order and payed then this employee then comes to tell me they can’t warm my pastry because they already turned off their things so I said okay left and called as I didn’t get his name so called he answered the phone as Josh when I asked again for his name he was hesitant then told me Ron instead. I’ve come here before and people where nice but this was not like before very rude…. The other lady employee was very sweet unlike the guy there. He got mad when two other customers walked in right before they closed as we were getting ready to leave… drinks were a little off as well I could have probably gone to the Starbucks further down and had better experience…"

After I ordered, I waited on one end of counter to pick up my order the girl hands me half of my order then tells me I'll have to go to the other end of the counter for my drink. "Just was going for a coffee, or caramel macchiato, hot one. I usually go through drive-thru so I was reading the menu and I decide to go ahead and get something to eat too and I noticed Little Egg bites with them like it was bacon, egg and gruyere bites. OH FREAKIN MG, those egg bites AWESOME and fluffy. I also got a bacon, egg and gouda sandwich on sourdough brioche bread. And that was a pretty good sandwich also. I can't say nothing bad about this place it was just awesome this morning and little lady at the drive-thru window as we came up was just as friendly as can be. She even said hi to my Jason, my emotional support dog."

"Honestly shocked that it took a global pandemic for me to head here! My small bubble look for safe outdoor dining spaces with heaters and this place is awesome. It was drizzling and we were covered and outside with heaters that we had to take our coats off.The part that did not shock me was how good the food was which is in line with the Eastern Standard standards. I'm proud to say that I've tried all of their sister restaurants and truly do miss the Eastern Standard.On top of that, our server Tony, the bartender Cassandra and Tina were awesome! We loved every minute of our experience dining with them and would highly recommend anyone and everyone who wants to have a great dining experience to head over to the Shy Bird"
