- The property was well-maintained and clean, including the pool, cabana areas, and beachfront.
- The concierge, bell staff, and poolside servers were very helpful and accommodating. Special praise goes to "Missy" and "Anika" from the concierge, as well as "Ruby" and "Joston" who provided excellent service.
- The accommodation, a two-bedroom partial ocean view suite, was spacious and suitable for a family of four.
- Cabana rental was highly recommended for daily use, especially with kids, and included amenities like soft drinks, ice cream, and towels.
- The close proximity to the ocean and private beach was convenient, with towels and chairs provided.
- The pools were enjoyed by the kids, including a fun slide and a secret hot tub, as well as an adult pool.
- Transportation to and from the airport provided by Fairmont was impressive and convenient.
Cons:
- Noise pollution from construction was a major issue during our stay, as there are ongoing renovations that were not adequately highlighted before our arrival. The noise, including jackhammers, was disruptive and constant throughout the day.
- Housekeeping could be improved, as drink ware was frequently removed from the room, requiring replacements to be requested.
- The restaurants at the Fairmont were not impressive, with limited variety. Our experience at Ko was disappointing, and we were deterred from dining at Nick's due to the appearance of the building.
Overall, while our stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani had its ups and downs, we appreciated the efforts of the staff to address our concerns and provide compensation for the inconveniences we faced during our visit."
