"WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. They refused to accommodate to our parties needs. The food was unseasoned and disgusting. Honestly how do you mess up Indian food? Just spice it, it’s not that hard. The food was so unseasoned and unsatisfactory that one of the employees snuck us RED MASALA to make the food edible. Also the manager REFUSED to turn on the ac. He kept lying about it being on or it being broken after multiple people in our party complained. The party was ruined by the poor management. Never coming back and telling friends and family to avoid at all costs."

"I recently visited Palace of Asia, a wonderful Indian restaurant that I have been to many times before. My teenage children and I savored the chicken tikka masala and navratan korma, along with tasty naan, puri, and aloo paratha. Everything was delicious. We always end up eating too much here, but we still take home leftovers that we argue over for lunch the next day. My son typically sticks to the chicken from the American menu, but this time he tried the chicken kabobs and really liked them. It's a great place for both large and small groups."

"Was a birthday which was mentioned hours before and nothing for that even though we would have paid. Too busy being lazy and chef coming out entertaining large tables of drunks but no one paid attention to us unless we politely asked. Compensate something. Spending around $100 for that awful service is not right. That restaurant has to make up for this and not by a credit because I’m never going back there. "I am very disgusted and disappointed with 5 star. I normally order from them and I am a good customer...so I ordered 6 wings with fries and when I got my order the wings were burnt and so hard I called and told them and asked for my money back....it took them almost an hour to bring me back my money.....on another order this week I placed a rather large order and the crab soup that I ordered was bad......they have just lost me as a customer."

"This place is just awesome. Visited last Thursday evening for the all-vegan buffet and was blown away by everything. So many delicious choices for food, kind and fantastic people helping out. "I've eaten at the downtown location several times and have never had a bad meal there. I met a couple of friends for dinner at the UES location last weekend, and the execution of the dishes was not consistent. Those who ate chicken were very happy. Those of us eating veggies had small complaints. For instance, the cauliflower in my dish was undercooked enough for me to notice it. That said, the service was good, and the meal was very reasonably priced. I would go there again if I were in the neighborhood."

"really beautiful ambiente certainly better than most Indian restaurants. very friendly and helpful service staff. mango Lassi was not too bad. Chicken kebab was hard and cordy really bad: lamb biryani was fat and the lamb was hard. naan might not feel fresh, maybe they just heated and served us some prefabricated naan pretty bad. Chicken tikka masala was kind of ok. overall really bad experience didn't happen again safely."

"Ajanta is my favorite Indian Restaurant. The food is fantastic, the service is great and the unique decor with images frim the Ajanta caves is lovely. "I have eaten here many times. The food is wildly inconsistent, almost as if there are different chefs with different recipes from day to day. Vegan options on the buffet are boring and bland, but if you know what to order the food can be a solid 8/10. As a fan of Indian/Pakistani food, this is not great by any stretch of the imagination, but certainly better than nothing, considering the lack of options in the area. The staff is always super nice and accommodating and I want to continue supporting this business even more because of that."
